In other words, back in 2003, SNK was too lazy to localize 100%. At least they gave it their Zero Wing style shot in SamSho 1-3.
I'm just glad SamSho 2019 was polished from soup to nuts.

Yeah... for whatever reason, NeoGeo non JPN version has story stuff, for that either JPN version or Ps2/Xbox ports of the game (or an Xbox based hack).
