    I recently discovered your videos and have learned so much from them. Thank you for posting them and for having such a great and thorough explanation that is easy to follow and understand!
    A question for you:
    I've been making my own body butters and balms, adding essential oils only, not fragrance oils (yet haha) mostly by drops (20 or 30 depending on recipe weight).
    Would this method of making a fragrance to store work for mixing essential oils to store for adding easier (by weight) to my body butter and balms? Or if I made a roller with carrier oil?
    Thank you in advance, love! (I say that too 🥰)

    Can you recommend good places to purchase fragrance oils and pre made blends within the UK?
    All the great ones seem to be USA or Canada based
    Thank you x

    In your linen spray video you used polysorbate 80 to blend the oil and alcohol/witch hazel. Based on this video it's not really needed as you stated it will bind together if you wait 4 weeks. Can you explain why it's different? Do I need a solubilizer (polysorbate 80) or can I just wait 4 weeks?

    • @HawthornCompany
      @HawthornCompany  3 роки тому +2

      The poly 80 helps the formula stay clear and keeps the fragrance from separating. You can leave it out, you won’t always need it. But if you have a stubborn oil that won’t stay clear or a heavier oil that experienced separation issues, then try adding the 80.

    I have a question. Does it make sense to buy essential oil set from amazon, because its seems to me that these are not high quality (made in china). Buy i'm of course total beginner, just thinking to try and create something for fun :) Thanks.

    Is wooden wick organic alcohol long lasting and strong as well

    • @HawthornCompany
      @HawthornCompany  3 роки тому +2

      It doesn’t have a strong alcohol scent like the Vetiver aromatics alcohol but to me it doesn’t last as long as the Vetiver either. The perfumers alcohol from the perfumers apprentice I heard is amazing, and it’s cheap, you may want to try a small bottle of that first (I think it’s like $16). I’m probably going to switch to that too

      @@HawthornCompany It smells amazing. I opened the bottle to smell, I smell nothing but fragrance. No alcohol smell at all. Not sure it the one you use still have alcohol smell but this one doesn’t. But I’m still wait 4 weeks to spray it. 😢

      You don’t have to wait if there’s no alcohol smell. That makes me so excited! I’m going to order some now.

    How can you mix Fragrance oils with EO without knowing exactly what's in the FO which are typically already pre blended and diluted? A decent DIY video but a bit misleading. Should be using EO and/or Aroma chemicals to create custom blends, and not any FO.

    We don’t need POLISORBATE 80 or glycerin in this method?
