The Walking Dead's Laurie Holden On the Season Finale's Body Count and "Closure"
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 бер 2013
- As Andrea on The Walking Dead, Laurie Holden has been one of this season's most critical players. The actress stopped by our LA studios this week to talk about her character's complicated relationship with the Governor and what she thinks the series has to say about humanity. Andrea also dropped a few hints about the big battle ahead between Rick's crew and the Governer's people. The Walking Dead's season-three finale airs Sunday, March 31, at 9:00/8:00 Central on AMC.

Andrea was my favorite character I melted down to tears when I saw her death
im so sad... andrea was a great character
Poor Laurie. The expression on her face and the way she talks about the final episode, I'm sure she was pretty heartbroken about her upcoming death, which the interviewer innocently talks about, knowing nothing about it. Gonna miss her on the show. I was one of the few people who supported her the entire show. :(
I really miss Laurie on the show. From what I've read, she was supposed to be in season 4, but behind the scenes drama led to her departure. Hopefully in a flashback sequence she can return.
yah I heard she had a 8 season contract
Pro trick : you can watch series on Flixzone. I've been using them for watching all kinds of movies these days.
@Rayden Luciano Yea, I have been watching on flixzone for since november myself :D
Well you predicted from s10 e13.
I wonder how hard it was to talk about some originals going when Laurie Holden already knew her character was going
They should do a spin off of michonne and Andrea in those 8 mounts
Agreee❤️
Shame they did away with her character. Loved her sassiness and sarcasm.
2018 i still wish and missed this character i was ready to see her go all the way in her journey as the comics.
That was great. If you watch closely Holden. who is a very intelligent and expressive person, had
a few "tells" when she talked about core characters being killed off (as she had already FILMED her own
death episode lol) it was in her eyes. And at the end too, she had a "if only they knew" expression.
Wow I remember when I watched it 4 years ago and always thought Andrea was going to get out
I miss you still on 2020 Andrea !!!!!
I want Andrea’s return in the Walking Dead !!!!
Same
Laurie holden 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
People will probably don't beleive me but, Andrea was my favorite character... :'(
she was my fav
I'm going to miss Andrea on the show she's was my favorite but I'm defenitly impressed by Laurie Holden and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her work in the future
Same here. She had the best death of the entire series though. Michonne staying with her was touching.
that shade to mazzara tho... lmao
I supported her all the way! So sad seeing the death of Andrea :(
I MISS U ON THE WALKING DEAD :(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((9
I love how Laurie acts just like her character.. SHE JUST WANTS PEACE! xD
If only Andrea was as smart as the actor who played her.
when andrea died i actually cried myself to sleep :p
I met Laurie on a flight to Austin, TX. Not exactly the nicest person in the world. Never meet your heroes, peeps.
Thank you!!! He's such a jerk! Thanks for taking up for her I love seeing that!!
Says the stalker, lol!
She is actually a little inexpressive, but I wouldn't say a bad person.
Andrea’s death might be the one that’s been treated with more respect throughout the show. It happened behind a closed door, silence, we see the faces of her friends waiting for the shot, and then bang. Michonne was with her in the room. We weren’t. If there is a way to show respect for a character that has given so much to the show. I’m assuming that we are all in the bargaining stage today, right? Andrea’s ghost, dream sequence, alucination, bring it on!!!!
Oh gosh she knew her character was a goner I can tell by the way she said "you have no idea"
It kills me re-watching these videos now.....I loved Andrea, although her character is basically Daryl in the comics.....They shouldn't of killed her off, they give her all these episodes focused on her and the governor and her whole side-story....she's a main survivor in the comics...I don't understand why they thought it was a good idea to kill her off in the show...UGH! So sad :-(
Andrea was a great character...in the comic. But gotta give her props because you know you did shit right when people hate your character so much, kinda like Skylar from Breaking Bad.
Thank you for helping me argue my idea. :D
It's too bad the producers of The Walking Dead seemed so determined to ruin Andrea's character. I liked Andrea, and I thought Laurie Holden did a great job acting the part. Beats me why the writers basically wrote Andrea into a hole literally speaking.
OK can we just take a moment to appreciate? How good of a speaker laurie holden is Because you could see how much he was hurting.Talking about the finale of season 3 and how much betrayed she kept it hidden. She's professional. Also, the fact that she calls Andrew Lincoln, Andy is the cutest thing ever. And I really Feel sad that we didn't get to see them as a couple.Because that was what they were supposed to be like in the comics.Andrea and rick end up together. She's practically michonne and it just makes me sad you know.
So sad. The show will defenetly miss you.
She is so beautiful
'up until recently'
aww poor Laurie :'(
Laurie, would be great playing Samantha in Bewitched. What a lovely lady.
I think people forget that this was a comic series first created by Robert Kirkman, he is the genius behind this series. What we are watching is what came from his imagination. Though they kept some of the characters longer, and kept some like Glen rather than having him killed early on in another group were all great moves by the director and producers of the show. With Kirkland's blessing of course because he is still very much a part of all this amazing work being done to entertain us.
Definitely, writers love to kill huge characters.
''You know, They love it'' I was charmed by how Laurie said it.
I got to meet her
What was she like? I've read she's not nice
No she's actually super sweet she wasn't mean at all
Ohh ok thank u :) that's awesome to hear. Loved her on the show and after reading that she busted a trafficking ring makes me respect her :)
I know it's late but. You're welcome :)
She was JUST becoming one of the strongest and absolutely best characters in the entire show.
And they kill her at the end of her Arc of becoming that 🤦🏻♂
It was just so stupid and unnecessary.
I didn't like Andrea in Season 1 and 2, but in Season 3 her character became very human and sympathetic while all the other characters were honestly kind of loosing most of their empathic qualities.
Rick still carried the show, but he became a raving maniac hearing voices, seeing visions etc.
A Broken man, while Andrea wasn't broken anymore, she had become strong again throughout her Arc of losing her family, sister, wanting to die, and being forced to live in a cruel dead world.
Finally she saw the light again, and dies... for what?
It had no purpose or value to the story.
She didn't even need to be "rescued".
It would have ended better if she had survived and came to rescue the OTHERS from the Governor if anything.
Her death ruined the story for the show actually . She was mixed for me in the first 2 seasons and she was growing during season 3 and her death was actually sad. Glen Mazzara killed her for no reason and it affected the way the comic and the show would be together
you should do a watch rate or pass for spring breakers
i wonder how she felt through this interview knowing she is dying next episode.
GOD DAMMIT I THOUGHT THE OTHER GIRL WAS THE GIRL THAT PORTRAYED AMY
Wow must’ve been really hard to talk about major character dying knowing that hers was dead in the next episode
Andrea should have killed the Governor I feel like if she did. She would still be alive in the walking dead. I was so sad to see her die for a minute I thought she might of survived but unfortunately Andrea got bit and at that point I realised it’s over. 😢
YO ATTENTION EVERYONE THE GREATEST THING HAPPENED RECENTLY... ANDREA DIED!!!!!!!!!!
love the actor though shes cute and seems pretty nice and chill, but yeah... ANDREA DIED AND TIBERIUS TOO (if you watch spartacus)
Idk if any will believe me I cried like a bitch when she died that night
@4:17 she's talking about herself :(
Not everyone has seen the final episode or episodes. This comment could be a huge spoiler for them. Just saying. But I do happen to agree with you though.
Oh and I hope Carl goes soon he's really pissing of ever since Loire died
I'm here because of X files
+Hercules mac Marita Cavarubias ♥
lol they were talking about how great the finale was gonna be HAHAHA pls.... 316 was a disappointment
So sad watching this now that the finale is over....you can tell she's talking about her death "without actually saying it" F*cking writers.......Robert Kirkman says "BETH is going to be a series regular" HAHAHAHAHA F*cking groundbreaking! I can't wait to see her feed the baby more and do laundry.....it's an insult to Andrea, you had to kill her off but give this almost obsolete side character the stage!? HAHAHAHA
Really? I actually think Glen is one of the poorer characters. I used to like him, but not so much anymore.
Damn this is old asf
+++
I never said anything about her sex life...
Lame ending
I bet Andrea dies
you're late
no shit
wow she was kinda given it away especially with her womanly spitefulness singals
She was pissed cause she had a contract for 8 seasons at least and she got wrote off for absolutely no reason
Please go back to school for a while and learn English.
andrea is bleughhh lol never liked her needy character, annoying and gradually got worse. Much better actress for The Mist and Silent Hill👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
