Love these boxes. A friend and I made literally hundreds over the years. We made them for favours for both her daughters’ wedding, for lucky dips for the school fair and for various other events. One tip. Don’t fold to find the centre. Mark the diagonals with a pencil instead. That way you won’t have a crease that needs hidden. Also they are great made with old photographs. The shiny paper folds really well. 😊

Thank you so much for the tip on making the bottom of the box slightly smaller to fit the lid! I recently followed someone else’s instructions and I was frustrated when the bottom became all bunched up because it was the same size as the lid.
