I love this origin story for Amy.
Can you imagine Eggman trying to replicate Sonic's powers for himself and this one girl using her cunning to stop him while also getting a bit of said powers for herself? All this with Sonic unknowing how she just saved his ass from a lot of trouble and her pink hair being a symbol of what she did that day. It make she look so much more badass.
Omni: *Who DARES to appear before the ALL-KNOWING being!?*
Also Omni: Oh hey Sonic buddy wassup?
I think Robotnik overlooked the fact that the accident that made Sonic change colour really only changed his looks and nothing more- Sonic was always able to run fast. In fact, that's what caused the explosion in the first place! Same with Amy- it changed her looks, but that's it. So really, even if he HAD absorbed the energy himself, it very possibly wouldn't have given him any new abilities at all.
@Cheese bag no- the explosion that caused Kintobor to become Robotnik was completely separate to the explosion that turned Sonic blue- it happened later. What happened was the evil energy that was in the emeralds transferred to Kintobor- along with the rotten egg he was holding.
@Cheese bag yeah, that story is a bit of an anomaly! 😅
Blue robotnik
Hold up, He fused with a rotten egg that's hilarious

Haven't watched anything from this channel in a while.
Welcome back.
That was awesome see the origin of Sonic, Amy, Tails Robotnik and more thank you for the video.
You’re amazing!
Fun Fact: Amy was brown in the Shogakukan Sonic Manga
7:28 reminds me of that little peashooter that zombie Hawkeye had when he was put in Janet's old robot body
I watched your older videos to see the full origin of those guys from the comic series.
So was Amy an unwilling servant/prisoner of Robotnik at some point?
This is so cool but odd at the same time! Like Eggman is ACTUALLY AN EGG😂😂😂 he once was not evil...And sonic and that were not al colourful! It feels weird knowing this now cause it feels wrong for sonic but...cool I guess? It makes sense...but at the same time it’s so odd😂 plus technically sonic doesn’t have anything canon but idk man idk..???
0:51 ost?
Spaceport Sonic Forces.
This is awesome!!!!!!
I love these, but hmmm the one for Amy doesn't really make a lot of sense, here she's acting rebellious already while at her first appearance she acted exactly like game amy did on CD, also Robotnik's design too, he changed appearance right after he captured Amy the first time, while here he already had the AOSTH design
I like how sonic was an actual hedgehog
Man, I never really liked this origin for Amy. During her first appearances in the Sonic CD adaptation, she was kinda ditzy and innocent. She obviously didn’t like Robotnik, but she developed into a strong fighter AFTER joining Sonic and his crew. Retconning her to always being this competent force against Robotnik kinda undermines her development and just clues me in on the fact that it wasn’t intentional.
I remember reading somewhere that Nigel Kitching didn’t like the direction her character was going in because she just kinda turned into a female Sonic with not a lot of distinguishing features or flaws. Not sure how true it is, but realizing that her character growth was just a mandate rather than a genuine attempt at story telling just kind of undermines how good her character is. This story is really emblematic of that considering Any acts like post-Freedom Fighter Amy (the version of the character the editors wanted) rather than how she should be acting at that point in time.
I totally agree with you and your very close to being spot on, Nigel actually stopped writing for Amy around this point as a result of the editor making these changes which is why you barely see any Nigel Kitching stories featuring Amy after issue 106.
@@SonicTheComic That’s interesting. And yeah, I never noticed Amy doesn’t show up much for the main strip after Robotnik’s defeated!
Still, you said I was close to being spot on. Makes me wonder what your take on that situation is. Did I get some facts wrong or did you just disagree with something smaller? I’d love to know!
Keep up the good work, btw!
Amy's Secret Past isn't a good story cause it has gotten lot's of problems.
What do you mean it has gotten a lot of problems do you mean it's got a lot of problems?
@@audyanderson7997 Same difference.
