If you discover errors in your speach, and want to record single words, and input them into your timeline, like "a list", or "intelligence", a tip to make it work, is to 1) record at exactly the same spot in the studio, and 2) listen to a recording of your voice in the same sentence *just* before you make your corrections, that makes it easier to pronounce and put pressure on words in exactly the same way, making it virtually impossible to hear you have corrected yourself.
