Okay this is much better from the dolls. Crabs still need to work on their timing and cleanliness but over this stand routine was cute and I am loving the new counts and count selection.

Y’all gotta wait. If you think about it there’s really only two SEASONED vets while the other 7 are basically still crabs. This kinda reminds me of the beginning of 18 too. Everyone said the squad wasn’t up to par but the rest of 18 Gabby proved them wrong.
naw naw, 18 only had 2 crabs with 6 very strong vets. That was dumb on admin to only have a few vets.
18 had vets that were stronger (dance wise) then the captain and their were way more vets then crabs

Having Lindsey would have brought more balance, cohesiveness, and fire to the team. Lindsey should have been center behind Arielle. Administrators missed the mark on that cut. Lindsey is an amazing dancer and is a force to be reckoned with. She embodied the doll style with fire and grace. Definitely missing her. Some gems are irreplaceable. All the dolls needed was 2 girls added and let the others return. That one and only game in the spring was amazing. Not to take anything away from these beautiful dancers before us . New Ladies you are talented and have looads of potential and were chosen for a reason.
FUNNY How SU will cut dancers after 2=yrs. I say if you have a prbm w/the dancer let them know & give them a chance to correct the prb. This is what happened to crab class 2015. In 2018, they cut Melody b/c she didn't score high enuf or something. And, after being emergency interim capt for parade season, Jordan was not giving the capt job. So Jordan & Tailyn were pissed and didn't return w/Melody. SU cut Alyx & Mia, too. FIVE senior dolls they lost. We all know what happened then.

IMO... first thing first...can y'all please stop fetishizing Arielle skin color relating her to some type of food. It's disgusting. Chocolate this, chocolate that. It's freaking weird. Secondly, this organization is missing the mark and has been consistent in doing so for the past 4 years. I understand that they may not want one lady overshadowing the whole but the reality is...it is wtf it is. Danielle had that IT factor and so did Jordyn. And now so does Camryn and the people in charge purposefully have decided to stamp it out and it definitely is costing them majorly. Arielle gets out danced by the entire team even with the minor mess ups. That's just facts. No way you can look at this clip and say "Yep I see why she's the captain" I expect to see this from highschoolers, not from SU Dolls. And even the highschools are coming out way harder, cleaner, and prepared. Let's normalize not making excuses for mediocrity because that's exactly what this was at the least MEDIOCRE. A shame and a scandal. And then Lindsey being cut 👀 for who??? The two on the left or the three next to Cam... chil' please. A travesty. After Camryn and Arielle leaves the Dolls are going to end up washed up. It's like we are literally watching a demise and people are too afraid to speak on it. SMH. I'm disappointed ☹️ not at these ladies, the team... but those who are in charge. They gonna end up running the Dolls right into the ground and it's going to take them years to catch up. Seems like they are already at least 2-3 years behind now.

Seems like the arranging has going to a “largo sustained” type vibe, which while full, sounds elementary. Southern is known for staccato--helps with endurance.

I love S. U. And All the HBCU'S Bands.. However, there just seems to me like it's quite disingenuous to suggest that all these girls have such long hair. Where's the natural hair styles.. Are they required to all have long hair 💇. The dances even comes across as disingenuous because the hair is incorporated into the routine... Don't get me wrong.. They look good 👍 but there's something to be said about this every girl long hair look..

That band was hitting hard in the 70's when Doc Gregg's was head director. He made them what they are today. Shout out to Kedrick Taylor for holding down the fort and I'm loving his energy this season.💞
