    When fine tuning start and end points, hit shift and you have an option to snap to zero crossing to make sure chops never click or pop at the ends

    Sup Malo,
    I just want to say you inspired me to purchase my own MPC one - it comes in tomorrow! For such a small channel you’ve been cranking out some dope content that’s definitely helped me and others learn more about the MPC workflow and get over that learning curve.
    From the video quality, audio, and editing I can tell you put in a lot of work brother & you and your channel have big things your way!
    Keep up the good work!! Subbed and thank you

    im starting to get the differences of maschine and mpc through youtube. the only familiar experience i have is the app beatmaker 3. I would like to know if you also could easily add different samples to that program from a libraray. f.e. you have the 8 pads from your loop in the video and instead of going on sampling from the record you decide to get a guitar lick from your internal library. Can you easily create your banks flexible in mpcs? cheers and thanks for the vid!!

    • @malobeats
      @malobeats  2 роки тому +1

      Hey brother and thank you for reaching out with this awesome question. To answer your question, YES 👍🏼 absolutely, you can sample in to the mpc and build your program and then latter your can add additional samples to that same program form your SD card or any other source from your sample library

    I have one major question as a beginner does it make a difference if I buy a turntable that has a pitch control or not? I ask because I don’t know if the MPC has a built in pitch control that will let you sample slower then a turntable that has a pitch control?

    Hey Malo! What do you think of chopping samples in Program Edit / Samples? I prefer this way ALL the time, over Sample Edit view, which EVERYONE else does. Since Program Edit allows you to set sample start / end with the Q-Links (either way), why not just do it all in Program Edit, where there are so many more functions, right there? Never understood why everyone always chooses Sample Edit view.

      @@yesman6922 You're probably going to need some RCA to 1/4" adapters so you can hook up your turn table directly to the inputs of the MPC One using RCA cables. Or whatever cables you could get that go from RCA to 1/4". At that point, you really just have to press the Sampler button on the MPC One. And press record. It's not difficult. The video here skipped over it, but be sure to press Shift and Convert on the touch screen to actually save the slices or they will be gone.

    Hey malo, as a mpc one newbie I must say I like your video presentation. Including errors I've had made the same mistake with the holding pad issue. Lol. The way you teach is very informative & simplistic to learn. I've finally made progress on the basics already thanks my brother 💯💯💯
