I was at SeaWorld yesterday. I asked about Vikings, they haven't been told anything about what could be replacing it. I also asked about the monorail, it's sadly been decommissioned, something to do with it being too close to Leviathan or something.
Thanks for sharing! Aww shame about the Monorail! I wish there was a way it could work with Leviathan - imagine the views! and will be interesting to see what happens to the Viking area.
Lol, quite a coincidence both online at the same time. Yes agreed, I was saddened too, and it would have been an awesome view. Hopefully something will happen with Vikings soon, I reckon they've got something planned, why would they do something now after years if they didn't have some plan.
2:43 Spoke to an op when i noticed it first the other day. Staff said kids been throwing the pebbles at Leviathan, so they had to remove the pebbles. Without the pebbles, the water level couldn't be regulated (i.e., it overflowed). Hence the current lack of both.
I forgot about the pebbles! Yeah I noticed they acted as kid magnets sadly. I hope they find a good solution that doesn't detract from the quality of the theming.
That sucks, when I was a kid if I did something like that, my mother would have scolded me, and stopped me. Where are the kids parents? And why can't you have anything these days without people ruining it?
good to get back to Sea World alway love a Wooden coaster in Sea World it fit the vibe you know? Gotta love short queue times that's the thing there's r short wait times when it's not the school holidays which i really enjoy! the queue line in Leviathan is really cool! I wonder how long it took them to make it? Thank you! I think it took them a long time to built Leviathan's queue - they did a great job! Sea World's pretty long but not too wide. I'd say it's a small park overall.
when I went there (November 2022) I was questioning everything and when I got home, I researched EVERYTHING about this location. Butt please put a meduim ride there.
The castle might be for a threater and a scary maze for Halloween. I went on the jet rescue, and it was so fast never again it's to scary for me it's like the Motocoaster at dreamworld
So the path which was already too narrow for crowded days (let alone night time events) will be even more restrictive with the shade structure supports? I would hope that a new thrill ride or at the very least family thrill ride like a dark ride, will be installed in the open and castle space previously occupied by the Vikings Revenge flume ride. What is it with Village Theme Parks shutting down rides for the entire period between school holidays EVERY YEAR? In two months you could retheme the whole damn ride but no doubt it will only get a new lick of paint and a few bolts tightened. How long has that carousel been out of service now? How long could it possibly take?!?
Pretty much! I also would like to see a new thrill or dark ride. So much they could do in on the Log Flume site! Annual ride maintenance is normal. Re Storm Coaster they actually do it at a better time now - they used to do it in Summer! 😂 They shut the Carousel down after the (minor) accident that happened to the one at Movie World in 2021. It seems they've slowly but surely taken it apart to inspect everything before putting it back together.
They waited so long to remove the log flume I felt like it was gonna be a permanent icon for the parks history. Hopefully this means the theatre inside the building opens up again?

A dark ride in the castle would be great, unfortunately Australian parks seem to have abandoned dark rides and water rides mostly.
Such a shame! I love dark rides. Justice League isn't enough!

The castle is basically condemned, it won’t be used again.
Yeah, they might bring the theatre back! Jet Rescue is certainly faster compared to Motocoaster!

I hope so! It's a shame just having it sit there. So much they can do now that the Log Flume is (finally) gone!
