Beautiful park in a beautiful setting. As you said, it really looks worth spending some more relaxed time in the animal exhibits instead of seeing this as a pure theme park. If they want to expand, maybe they should have an informative chat with Phantasialand and Gröna Lund. They have found quite creative ways to deal with limited space.
If you know where to go, the views of the Gold Coast are insane! Leviathan might have the best predrop view in the world. It feels as if they built a park in Miami!
Taylor one of the things I love about your reviews is not only that they are so on point, but they are also so well researched. You do such an awesome job. On another note, as an Aussie, Sea World was always a fave of mine as a kid. That building that now serves as the station and themed run-off for Storm Coaster used to be home to two incredible world-class dark boat rides (at seperate times). It was originally called Lassiter's Lost Mine Ride and was filled with scenes of flooded mines and chaotic animatronic miners. Great effects and so immersive. In later years it was replaced with a ride called Bermuda Triangle - an almost exact copy of which can be still be found at Movie Park Germany. Both of these dark rides, combined with the old flume ride, were enough to make Sea World magic for me. And while Storm Coaster is nice, I'm just sad that kids today don't get to experience the magic of old Sea World
Sea world Australia is not just meant to be a theme park. Unlike the sea world in the US Australias sea world also functions as a wildlife rescue reserve
I went to Sea World in 1987, the log ride was going back then. I don't remember much else about it, but it would be significantly better now (you'd hope!)
I’ve noticed a MASSIVE concrete pad located right next to Leviathan which is in desperate need of something being put there. Also the log ride has been fully deconstructed now and the land is being flattened. Expansion???
I honestly think this park might have the best collection in Australia, the verity they have for home many rides they have seems like a better ratio than others.
The only "connection" with the US company is that the founder was inspired by the San Diego Park's general concept having visited the United States, he named the Australian park the same name because it wasn't copyrighted in Australia.
in 2017 and 2018 i went to sea world for my birthday, 2 days both times. the hotel rooms are tiny, and very expensive. its also home to my first credit, spongebobs boating school blast
The rides are as much of a viewing experience as a thrilling one here. Being right on the water is wonderful. Without the New Atlantis area it'd be kind of empty for rides, but now with it complete the park feels really whole. Yes I would also love a big steel coaster, but space is an issue so it may never happen. About the only free spot they have would be where the log flume used to be, and that's not a lot of room.
We just went today and most of the rides were closed and/or in renovations 🥴 However, we did enjoyed the spongebob bikini bottom ride!!! I was screaming my heart out it wasn’t even scary for others but it was for me.😂 We are also staying and the Sea Word Resort for 5 days and the pool is the best for us. We got sun burnt but it was worth it.😂
How does this compare to the SeaWorld parks in America? Which ones do you think this one is better than, and which ones do you think are better than this?
Although I am absolutely not a fan of parks still doing shows with animals (give them space and don’t bother them too much), it seems like a fun and nice looking park.
I went to sea World as an excursion at school it is called camp because we slept at school as well l went with my dad and he was the only one in my family there. I went on the storm ride and I had a blast l love it oh and my school is called Summerland Cristen college and it is in Goonellabah from a lismore girl Zoe 😁 remember you are all loved
I visited Sea World back in 2012. Nothing wrong with the rides if that's your thing. One thing that has always stuck in my mind whenever I hear SeaWorld mentioned is the outrageous price gouging for any food item. Bear in mind, I'm talking about 2012 prices. 9 dollars for a sausage roll, 7 dollars for a cheap, generic, banana flavoured ice-cream. Which, at the time, you could buy for less than a dollar at any supermarket. An absolute scam which, unfortunately, has turned me away from every revisiting.

It’s harder to score a theme park when there’s so many factors that are constantly changing. Roller coasters are at least consistent that it’s easier to score. What might be a perfect 10 for a theme park one day might be only an 8 the next time you visit due to low staffing or limited operations. Make sense?
I love your content. It’s always a nice break in my day to watch your videos. However, sometimes my ear is distracted by the … unique…. way that Taylor speaks where he omits syllables and words. I’m not sure if it’s because he gets excited and speaks too quickly, or if it’s part of a regional accent.
Is it weird that I can literally walk to Sea World in roughly 10 minutes, yet I haven't been in over 15 years? Not insinuating that it's bad there, it's just that life goes by quick and you forget to do things like that, it becomes just work and then rest. You never have the motivation to enjoy a day off anymore.
as a brazillian, wow that "carnaval" event seems like "a hodgepodge of cultural appropriation: the show", jeez! you have the obvious brazillian carnaval inspirations, so far so good-ish, but then indigenous headpieces, hawaiian fire dancing, dia de los muertos facepainting... what the fuck's up with that?!

great to hear! Google must be wrong then, cause when I did a search to see if they were back yet, it still listed them as closed

The New Atlantis area with Leviathan definitely transformed this park. Love me some Sea Space World !

I remember this park from “H2O Just Add Water” 😄❤️
The leviathan is super fun, big improvement for the park. Definitely the best views, the new trident rides gives the best views hands down
sea world IS australia's best theme park. been there myself. it's brilliant!
love going there every weekend!

Not enough time to avoid rushing

that's exciting to hear! Hopefully it means something awesome is in the works 😁
I've been to sea World Australia and the best part of it was the leviathan ride but the shops were amazing there were billabong and many other shops
I didn't notice any footage of Jet Rescue, did you get any?
There were a couple shots of it in there! It is a bit harder to film that ride though as many of the best views are from backstage.
Sea World atm is definitely the best park in Australia. I go there at least once a month.
The leviathan, storm coarser, and just skis😊
Is this were h2o just add water was shot?
Isn’t this the place they filmed some scenes of H2O at?
Definitely do the seal experience it was sooo good
