It took 20 minutes and is just for fun.
⚠️Important: It did not exactly happen this way, and no one forced me to do anything at any time. I placed certain quotes and things in the way I'd like to remember it, and the way I do remember it - fondly and with gratitude, great reverance and as much humility as possible. I did everything myself. And it isn't about some massive ego trip, but rather hierarchy, tradition, and respect - willing deference to a man much greater than I and trust
I was not anybody's "sacrifice" - I chose to do it and I sacrificed for him because he sacrificed for me first. I wanted to make him proud and return to him the things he sacrificed for my benefit. I was able to continue on and expand things he didn't always have time to do himself. Through me, his powerful spirit and influence allowed him to travel 1000 places he's never been and uplift 1000 faces he never saw, using my body, all from a safe place - he is essentially 'beyond the matrix' and 'bulletproof', meaning he represents to me the transcendental ideal - breaking through even the highest physical ceiling and seeing things beyond. His spirit is one of honor, and a Good man.
Also, certain parts of the video are not meant to portray that I am superior in any way just because I do more instruments than one, because I consider myself ⅓ of the man my Uncle & Godfather is, and is merely to represent the power of his positive influence, the power and need for a true father in a man's life to give structure and discipline and lead by example, showing what is possible if you have the right mentor. I made a Logo for him in the next episode that will display the inferiority of my status.
Shidoshi is a Japanese title or rank meaning "master instructor" or "teacher of the warrior way" or "pointer of the way", given to an individual who has demonstrated a thorough understanding, wisdom, and strength of constitution to instruct others in an artform, typically a term used in Ninjitsu. Sifu is also used interchangeably which carries connotations of "father"
Some day, I will find pupils who make me proud and can only hope and work to become half the Man my uncle is, half the Uncle my uncle was for me, for my own Nephew.
To me, my uncle is a Gladiator of the Highest Order, whose mere presence inspires great reverance and commands respect. No one has paid more dues and suffered in silence and been more consistent than him, longer than him. There is no one like him. He is made of iron like his father. Without him being there, I would have been dead. He was the only constant, the only face I saw during the pain and struggle, the only face I could see in the storm, the only thing I held onto and trusted. The reason I considered him my true Father in the video is because my biological father passed away when I was 7 years old. Without him, I was lost.
My uncle came in and showed me the Way, stepped up, inspired my curiosity, and consequently gave me my spirit, my soul, my identity, my life, and I owe everything I did in Music to him.
Everything I did was for him. Everything I've done was because of him. Without him, I was nothing.
Without him, I would have stayed nothing.
This was ALL VOLUNTARY - recognizing the Honor and giving it to the man it deserves to go to.
Everything I am as a man and a musician is because of him and I always want to be a better man and only hope to try and measure up the best I can. He is a good man, and that makes him truly a Great man, and has already achieved immortality, and I'm just showing the world the impact through a fun editing medium. My fielty to him is voluntary and will not bring dishonor to his name
The nickname for my father is 'Iron Head'.
The nickname for my grandfather is 'Iron Hand'. The nickname for my uncle is, 'Iron Man'.
Maybe I'll be called 'Iron Heart' or something
