Let us never forget the absolute legend that is Dennis Farina...rest easy.
YES! One of my favorite actors ever. My two favorite roles were Jimmy Serrano in Midnight Run and Marshall Sisco in Out Of Sight.
Fucken A dude
Yes he was a fantastic actor.
@Feverdream Frey Amen to that.
From Lombard to Fontana (L&O), Dennis Farina was the best. RIP and Godspeed.
Dennis Farina should have been in EVERY EPISODE. he was more cops that anyone , even REAL COPS !!! Great Actor. Respects.
Well, considering he actually was a cop before turning to acting that makes sense. One of his first gigs was being a consultant and actor on Code of Silence with Chuck Norris and he liked it so much he switched careers to acting.
He was a chicago cop retired and went to acting
@@jameshughes3241 He was perfect as Jimmy Serrano in Midnight Run.
Miami Vice was a tv show ahead of its time! Timeless tv show!
No... Not at all
Way ahead!
How is it ahead of its time and yet timeless? All these hyperboles are perplexing.
1:10 Olivia Brown lookin' good. Dennis Farina played a great villain. He was a great actor.
Miami Vice - magnificent, sadly missed.
Dennis Farina - class, sadly missed.
Humans will never be as cool as they were in Miami Vice.
The series' commitment to the visual quality of every episode made it one of the most expensive shows to produce at the time. In fact, the cost to produce one episode of the show was greater than that of the entire annual budget of the Miami Police Department's Vice Unit!
By far the Best series of the 80th‘s
Mercedes Benz 560 SEC. I had one. I currently own a 500 SEC with the same BBS wheels seen in this clip. Amazing car that still turns heads today.
It's funny... at the very beginning of the clip when they get out of the car and shut the doors, you can tell the sounds were dubbed, because a real W126/C126's doors from that era don't sound like that. What is supposed to sound like a tightly constructed bank vault instead sounds like a cheap economy car's trunk being slammed shut. You can also tell the two actors' voices were done with ADR too, before they got on the boat. The doors' sounds were a detail that I don't think the sound editor took into consideration.
man , as a 17 year old watching this show back in high school , i had a massive crush on Trudy . she is lovely
1:32 ❤️😁
She’s too black. I like the other one.
@@malvolio01 wtf
Trudy ( Olivia Brown ) was also Eddie Murphys dance partner and roll in the hay girl in “ 48 hours “……
"On what charges? Conspiracy to commit lunch?"
😂😂😂😂
Greatest line in TV history.
" getttimouttahere"
As a boat owner, I really enjoyed watching the ones that included boats, like this one.
I love the fact everybody raises their hands when Demarco pulls the gun except Lombard
Look at the big marvelous blocky Mercedes SEC!
i had a used one I bought in 93, same body kit, was an 87 SEC, it performs the same as my 2019 Q7
Season 1 and 2 were awesome
Really digging that Mercedes. That really should have been Tubbs' ride.
560 SEC.
definitely one hot ass joint. they stuck poor tubbs with that blaxploitation, big ass, cheap pimp ride.
@@Snowboy2015 That blue Caddy is quite a classic, though, and I think it suited Tubbs quite well because of his New York roots, and it blended well with his undercover persona. The SEC would have also been the ride for him if the need for speed was more his thing, but the Caddy seemed more appropriate.
I love the shot of the old Miami Herald building behind the MacArthur Causeway.
After this appearance on Miami Vice, Dennis Farina got cast in Michael Mann's short-lived crime noir drama, Crime Story, which Mann created after leaving Miami Vice.
@44excalibur you meant "Crime Story"
@@samuelperez9027 Oh, yeah. Sorry. lol
You can understand why Dennis Farina was casted in "Crime Story". He had a way about him.
Same producers same formula (except Chicago, not Miami). It had some nice sets, cars and costumes plus the soundtrack.
And oh yeah, "Fuck you, fuckball!" Shout out to Get Shorty
He was a Chicago cop for a long time.
Dennis Farina was superb in this and the follow-up epispde. Rest in peace.🌅
Best show ever. I miss the 80's.
Oh man this music is epic.
Al Lombard was the best bad guy on MV.......and remember “ Serrano’s got the discs “.......
You’re under arrest ! On what charge conspiracy to commit lunch? 😂
That benz is sick
Police story what a good show
I'm a Master Mechanic worked on those Mercedes 500SEC nice looking car I also worked on Dennis Farinas 85 Cadillac Eldorado back in the 90s real nice guy he was living in Scottsdale Az till he passed away
The stunt double from 3:22 to 3:27. They at least could have made him blond. 😆 Outstanding ep in an outstanding series!
Daaaamn Trudy!
its amazing how much one tv show can do for one city. Look at the miami skyline pre and post miami vice. Miami Vice is singlehandedly responsible for all the publicity and development of Miami ,Fort Lauderdale and South Florida in general.
The episode i grew up with .. I love this one :)
"Detective Crockett, did you order the Code Red?" @2:40
You godddamn right I did !!!:p
The ladies were looking good there.
Dennis Farina was "young" in this episode...
Olivia was delicious 😍🥰👍
hell yeah..I liked gina more overall, but trudy was sexier in this scene. damn, wtf, happened to young women since that time. now they look manlier than Crockett and tubbs.
@@Snowboy2015 ~ Hahaha! Unfortunately you're right. Now days it's hard to tell a male from a female.
Many of these young women today look hideous...
Let’s be honest, Farina probably looked 45 when he was born. RIP.
Can we appreciate the fact that Tubbs went undercover with his badge in the pocket?
😃
the most chicago accent that ever existed
4:04 Jason Statham
As a guy who lives in Miami now I can 100 percent assure you this all that exists as evidence old Miami existed cuase all those spots views have different buildings now.
I was just thinking how nice it would be to run down from Merritt Island to see some of the filming locations.
Dennis Farina looks like that journalist dude who hates Spider-Man
The 'stache' was the epitome of masculinity from 1970-1992. Sorry all white dudes look the same to you
They should have had Dennis frania played Jonah Jameson he would have been perfect
So where is Trudy keeping her gun😂
I wish the powers to be would turn this show into Hi-def the pic quality is not good. Best show of the 80's. Whomever was ahead of casting was a genius when you think of the regulars and all the guest stars.
What Legends are made of ‘
joe dallesandro warhol superstar
And Lucky Luciano in "The Cotton Club."
" angel 's been running this spot....why don't you live up to your end "
Now go get your shine box
That was Frank Vincent not Dennis Farina.
500SEC AMG
