  • Managed Detection and Response (MDR) allows companies need to monitor their networks in real time for security risks without needing to staff that function with internal resources. MDR is an added expense, but with some careful business case analysis, you may find it does not increase your budget dramatically.

men you are awesome , currently I m working on possibility to introduce MDR solution within my company but not confident enough of Risks involved since we are giving 3rd party response / remediate capabilites within own environment ...lets say if they get breached you have quite a high exposure and risk , right ?

Hello and thanks for stopping by! Yes, if you have a breach, you have high exposure. The time to react is critical to limiting damage. That's one of the most beneficial aspects of MDR - you have skilled security analysts watching your alerts around the clock. They can take immediate action if they have the appropriate permissions in your network and keep a small event from turning into a major event. Hope that helps, Steve
