Thanks Steve, great explanation & to the point, really enjoyed the video!
Thank you.. Great presentation and very clear and well explained.
Grammarly is the best! I recommend it to anyone!
Wonderful session to get the basic idea on SD-WAN stuff.
Thanks very much!
Can you outright replace Metro-E with an SD-WAN solution like Cisco Viptela + Meraki or Cato Networks or a different SD-WAN provider?
Short answer is "yes." But, we'd want to understand the applications before making a recommendation. Thanks for watching
@@steve_murphy1 Perfect response, thank you! This is a company-made decision already. I'll have to research this more.
the way you explain it, is just marvelous, thanks for defining it in very short video but concisely. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!

Hi Steve, Great vedio.. can we have a one one discussion please.. we are currently in the business case prep for SD WAN .. would be good to have a discussion to validate out understanding
Great simple overview with diagrams that helps digesting the topic.

Hello Steve, most of the items you have listed also fall into the ‘if then else’ solution category. My employer was doing complex automated debt collection operations in the late 90s. The missing connection to me, is exactly how to train and implement. Also dealing with inevitable false positives from the trained data set. I’m not trying to be critical, but I’m not getting a sense that AI has reached a point of practicality yet other than in tech ops. where we see benefits from debugging work.
you need oxygen mask on for some of that breathing old man
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it really helps providing a high level overview of these subjects.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Steve-Time stamp 5:57, the diagrammatic representation- Today's Network ............. on the right side of the screen could you please help me complete this, as this is not clearly visible due to video tile. Also could you please differentiate between SASE vs SSE if possible in your next video.
Good afternoon,
Thank you. Several supporting slides\screens with the facts detailed would be helpful as takeaways

Thank you so much! Your explanation is the best I've seen. Great job!
Glad it was helpful!
This was helpful and straightforward. Thank you.

Can you do a video on the differences between SASE vendors ? Lot of companies say they have it, but not all are the same...
Hello Curtis, I specifically avoid comparing vendors for two reasons. First, the comparison may not be accurate for a particular use case. Second, UA-cam videos are forever and comparisons have a pretty short shelf life as providers add new functionality all the time. If you have a particular need, let me know. My company offers free consulting. Best, Steve
Super educational. Thanks for your work.
My pleasure!
This is a comprehensive yet concise description with highly valuable nuance. Thank you. What is the exact definition of "the edge"?
The edge is usually referring to the border between the secure side and the public/unsecure side of a network. Thanks for the compliment!
@@steve_murphy1 Thank you, Steve.
Level Security! Welcome to Level One, every one can access level one. To acces level II, you must register and receive the access permit to enter. Nothing in, nothing out, without authentication or approval. The basic idea i gave to oir fine gents and ladies over in the DoD - using 1980's Financial Accounting Software, that used Quickbasic v4.5 and modular structured programming - something the financial institutions od the day accepted, as well as did the government's. Only now it secures all data, not just financial data. Programmable Network Security. Thus eliminating the need to worry about IP addresses and such. I shared it with them, as it needed a team i was not able to put together. I felt because it is what it is that i would share it with a great team of individuals - and all i asked, was that it be available to the public, and that the DoD had a viable option to secure our Nations communications over the Internet or however they do it. Your welcome. Thank you for your video - my explannation - i hope it helps everyone. Oh, and the idea is open to builr your own as well as i still plan too - for a project i call "the video game" which has also been deemed "the meta-verse". But its not necessarily available, nor do i have it organized at all. Its still all in research and up in the air at this time. Thanks. <3
Some good info, but you have a significant hum on your audio.
Excellent overview!
Thank you!
Thank you for such a comprehensive explanation.
You are welcome!
you are great, thank you for your videos!!!! I am already excited when you make a video about SD-LAN, when would it be the best case scenario to implement it, why is it better than a tradicional network, etc. I would really appreciate it. You´ve won another subscriber! *****
Thanks for the amazing explanation sir !
Most welcome!
Thanks for the insight!
My pleasure!
Very insightful & Clear & concise!
thank you!
Excellent videos, thank you! Is it safe to assume that the more remote sites you have and the farther reaching they are, the more potential cost savings you'd have? So a hospital network with 120 hospitals spread from California to Connecticut currently on an MPLS network with 2 data centers in the Midwest?
Your network should have significant savings.
Its a really valuble information. thanks for sharing. I'm doughtful that availability of a single product that can address all these scenarios.
Thank you!

Fire content Steve, I'm a huge fan of your video 🙋♂ Out of curiosity, are you currently seeking video editors or a thumbnail designer to enhance your personal brand? May I send you a previous work sample?
Coming from the financial services industry, I definitely see our company leveraging the Metaverse for client engagement. Another interesting use case would be utilizing the Metaverse for internal collaboration between geographically separated teams. I foresee novel security threats emerging with increased usage of these technologies
Totally agree!
Thanks Steve
