Its crazy how basic the multi user function is, even if you set up multiple admin users you can't customize the notifications for each admin (Ie. What if your partner only wants notifications at night and you only want notifications in the mornings, you can't change your phone notifications without modifying the settings on other admin phones). Guests can't even turn on notifications. The Reolink app should have more granular options for master admins for what the admins and guests can do.
It would be nice if you could restrict playback and camera movement for common users.
Thank you so much for your review,We will forward your idea to our R&D team.
@@ReolinkCamerasSince I have your attention, could you tell me what is going on with the POE floodlight? It has been out of stock for about 6 months now, only the wi-fi version is in stock.
So you have to scan the code each time for each new user???
Can i set up 2 cameras and use it in one app?
Mine just says reboot... no other options.. any help?
When I go to advanced I only get a reboot option. There is no user management. I have both the home hub and wireless battery doorbell. What do I do to create multiple users?
talking security, "the default admin" is THE admin, i cant take over as super account, so hackers already know the login name... it would be nice and safer if i could adjust this
Mine doesn't have user management in the advanced section
Please tell us about how notifications work with these accounts. Who gets the notifications? I’ve never got this to work. I always have to give everybody the high-level admin access so that they get notifications. What are we doing wrong?
They need to find a way to give access to individual cameras instead of the NVR.
I’ve got the battery operated cameras, can’t share devices with wife, as it doesn’t work when she is on our Wi-Fi but works on mobile data which is a pain !. Anyone know how she can access Wi-Fi and it works on it rather than mobile data ?. Thanks
Hi! Check if the Reolink App on phone is allowed to run in the Local Network. Settings>Apps>Reolink App>Toggle "Local Network" on
@ yes went into settings and the “Local network” is on and it is running !.
Whoever wrote the script this guy read is very dramatic... "Navigate to settings and take a leap into the advanced section. Here, find user management where the power to shape access resides. Administrators hold the key to this domain. Down below, users find their space.... Remember that ever added admin and user contributes to the symphony of security."
I have added my partner using the share device option where you can set privileges and expiry date and it generates a QR code. I now want to add a friend with different expiry date but can’t get rid of the existing QR code in my share device on the app. Reolink? Anyone?
This is incorrect. After all the simple explanation, this method gives a reg. user access to not only one but all your cameras. That's not control.
