I've just heard this for the first time on the radio driving home from work at 4am.. It's gorgeous, four minutes went by so fast. The guitar sounds magical - it could be Lyndsey Buckingham with Lissie on vocals. What's not to like?
My mother sent me this and said “This is just so your time in some ways, I remember feeling like this, i love this song and YOU 😘” It really shows that a mother knows her child and her music.
I saw you at Sweetwater 420 Fest on a tiny little stage and I told my husband that you were going to be huge. After listening to this song, I am even more convinced. You go, girl! Prove me right.
"...just an actor putting on a show. I hope I'm wise enough to know there's no way of knowing". I love this lyric. I really don't know the sincerity of someone elses heart. Well done on this song Katie!!!
@@samantha4130 Heard this on planet rock the other day and took a pic of the DAB radio so I didn't forget the name of the song. not usually my sort of tune, not dissected the lyrics or anything so no idea behind the meaning but it is such a chill tune.
Being young was nice when you look back at it. Even with all the bullying or abuse, or severe depression and mental suffering, lol. At least you were naive and innocent and had hope for the future and looked at life differently.
Musically, this sounded so much like a cross between late Bob Welch/early Buckingham-Nicks Fleetwood Mac I checked Wikipedia to see if any of the Mac were playing on this track. Nope, just some of our finest Nashville session "cats"!
This popped in my Spotify feed and really dug it. Had to see if there was a video for it. Sounds very Stevie Nick's who I'm a huge fan of. In checking out the rest of the album I was suprised to find this is the only song like this. Still the album is very cool. Will be checking out more of her stuff.
Oh God! OMG this is so damn fantastic! It's my first time hearing you, found you by checking out various new music and I have played this 10 times already and I still need to hear it more! You have blown me away and I'm a Musicologist who listens to hundreds of hours of music every week constantly, music is my passion, so in order for you to move me like that says a lot...I would hand you the Keys to the City or give you the Moon if it were mine to give. -Manny in Florida
Just heard this on Planet Rock in the UK. I thought, bloody a brilliant. At first I thought Fleetwood MAC and Stevie Nicks, but hang on this singer has a higher range. So beautiful, takes me straight back to the 70s as a teenager, what a track, how can anyone write a song that makes you feel this good?
Its truly a gift an Art indeed
It’s one of those perfect songs that doesn’t seem possible it was written but simply always existed.
A perfect homage without being a ripoff. Her voice is so damn powerful.

There’s an old Stevie Nicks song called Sable on Blond which clearly served as inspiration for this track. Good stuff from both artists!
