    • @strawberryfox8819
      @strawberryfox8819 Рік тому

      @@bluedragon1181 Those "pathetic vegans" are mostly right. Though it's mostly about industrialized farming. We kill more animals than we need (resulting in a lot of meat getting thrown away for no reason), kill them in the most inhumane ways (like slitting open their throats and letting them bleed out, or castrating baby pigs without any anesthesia) and on top, no one but the Industry benefits from it. Those animals are pumped full of chemicals and antibiotics that it seriously impacts the health of those that consume them and the actual farmers who raised the livestock get paid shit.
      So my advice is to get meat from a local farmer you trust. Both for your conscience because at that point, the animals are killed reasonable and it's not bloody torture and it's healthier for you. Might cost a little more but in comparison to the doctor's bills you can save on, that's a blessing.

    Reminds me of how my cat passed, stuck in an awkward spot.
    She got hit by a car and crawled under a drainage pipe (culvert?) next to the road while I was at work. My uncle was home and called me as the driver stopped to inform us about the incident.
    We were unaware of where she crawled at first, knowing cats hide themselves in situations like this. After searching for an hour, I spotted her in there, using a flashlight. The culvert is about 9 meters in length and I tried several ways to get her out.
    I ended up nailing planks and garden tools together to push her to the other side, using a rake to get her into a box, because she’d start biting. It took me about 2.5 hrs to get her out of there (it was 23:00 by then)
    Took her to the vet, where she was quickly diagnosed with a broken spine due to no feeling in her lower body whatsoever, like I suspected. We put her down, of course.
    My uncle throughout this whole experience wanted to quit and just leave the cat in the pipe. I know it was better to do what I did though. Relief for me as an owner, knowing that we did what we could, and the cat being put down instead of dying a slow death in the cold pipe.
    Idk man felt like a good spot to vent this out

      I live in Texas and I see animals get hurt here all the time because of negligent owners if you own a dog please do your animal a favor and get a fence and Leash them I know leashes are uncomfortable for some dogs but it needs to be drilled into them that it's a safety precaution dogs will run out in the middle of traffic and not pay any mind to their periphery it literally is beyond them that they could get killed at any moment it's up to us as their owners to protect them

    I thought the lesson was gonna be: "keep your dog on a leash" 😂

      Looks rural. A lot of people don’t use leashes in rural areas

      @@neetfreek9921kinda rude of you to assume everyone buys their rat dog. I got my chihuahua from the rescuer next door because she was emaciated when she was taken in but she had a lot of dogs to take care of. Though I don't agree with letting your small dog run around unsupervised. I'm always watching over my rat when she's outside.
      Edit: I only say its rude because I would never support buying a dog.

    - I would be so stressed owning a dog that kept trying to bury itself alive. I really hope its learned its lesson and is no longer spelunking around in every random hole it comes across.

    Glad Flossie was okay. I'd say the lesson is to keep your pets safely leashed/fenced/supervised, though hope is always useful, too.

      Yeah I thought the same. Especially If they knew that the dog liked going into rabbit holes.
