- I'm always looking for more realism in MSFS2020 and some Mods can really add that extra bit of authenticity. The ATC in FS2020 is good but is quite one dimensional. FS ATC Chatter from Stick and Rudder Studios fills that Grey area very nicely. With over 24.000 audio clips from all over the world of local real chatter, It adds a great dimension to any flight almost anywhere in the world. You might need some knowledge of MS-DOS to run some features.

I am glad to see this plugin again in MSFS. Even better that you don't have to purchase it twice, if you already have had it for XP11
I have a similar program on Xplane and I love it, except the accents are all American. It doesn’t seem right when I am in Europe or Asia. Thanks for reviewing this. You sold me. You are so prolific and I really appreciate that.

but do I have to talk to the atc to get e.g landing permissions or do I still have to use the Msfs2020 atc
Hi, from last 6 months I am using this mod in msfs2020, this mod is working absolutely fine but unable to capture the atc audio while recording via GeForce.
What is this aircraft? And where can I find it? I’m bored by the same glass cockpit of all the planes in FS2020.

Hey. No problem. Get the demo version first and see if you like it. When you get the full version apparently there's a bit of stuff you have to do in DOS.
I have that in XP11. For the FS2020 if it overlaps with your in-game ATC at the moment then I'll wait
Yeah it does at the moment. It's still very much V1. Hopfully it'll get more intergration with updates.

Hey! It's a good mod but I think some people have had trouble installing it. Seemed fine for me. There are a few extra features that require MS-DOS. I never got that far but just run it in the background and change between towers manually. Haven't gotten round to the DOS bit yet. There's a tutorial on how to install on their site that's pretty good. The Aircraft is the Piper PA 44 Seminole. I love this plane it's great! cant you use LIVEATC in the background?
did anyone buy this that lives and flys in the Uk, i always thought it was illegal to listen and record Uk ATC chatter, so my question, did they manage it or get around this silly law in the UK

One of the best 15 dollars I've spent for FS2020, really makes a huge difference especially in high cruise where nothing else much happens... Had it for X-Plane and bought it again for the new sim :)
I had it for X-Plane aswell. The Soundfiles are compatible. If you use the free version of the tool and add your X Atc chatter folder in it, it will work aswell.
How about running an ATC LIVE website on iPad, world wide atc...lol, we Canadians think we don't have accents lol, except when we say eh?
so its not actually blended with your fight atc, its just random ATC chatter for non-existent fights?
Will I still get European audio when flying in the UK ?

It's nice I used same for Xplane11 and using for MSFS for chatter. But for interactive ATC I am using PF3ATC which has regional accents wherever you fly(expensive though). Bit robotic but bit more immersive than the default MSFS ATC.

In Xplane 11 you have full control of this software from the in game drop down menu, which I think is a better option.

Try and download the demo and move your XP soundfiles into the same folder. They are compatible and they even tell this in their FAQ :)

Hey Jim. It's a bit of a weird one but it just installs as a separate programme that runs in the background and knows what towers are close to you. You kind of have to jump out of MSFS to initiate it and then bring it up when you want to change locations. Its great for long flights. I bought this earlier today and was stunned to find it required DOS commands that were way over my head. I pictured a much simpler install like dragging and dropping into the community folder or clicking on a link that would self install on my computer where I could just click and launch it. I’m afraid I wasted my money. Not your fault at all. I just assumed it would be much simpler to install. Assuming is not a good thing.
@@jimfrederich8852 Hey Jim. That's odd. I never had to touch DOS. I'll have a look at my version and read up about it. I know that there's a deeper use with waypoints etc and perhaps that needs DOS. I'll get back to you
