So back in 2009, I was out of the electronic/dance scene for over 5 years. I was originally a progressive house DJ and for me, it lost its way, and I left the scene broken. Always liked progressive breaks but there just wasn't enough of it. Then I heard some mixes by DJ Peaceful, and before you know it, I was buying $8,000.00 of studio equipment. I was back in, but this time it was progressive breaks! Why? Because there is where the magic is: elegant and intricate sounds, complexity, and that "progressive" sound that is sometimes hard to define but you know when you hear it. Above all, it was the music. And who was the champion of progressive breaks? Aeron Aether, of course. With his signature hard pounding beat and the way he would introduce his signature violins, orchestration, and those energetic crescendos, it was not only progressive breaks but it was music. I went to Beatport.com and Junodownload.com to buy all his progressive breaks. Aeron Aether was at the top of his game. For several years his original works and especially his remixes were of the highest caliber of music. Then, all of sudden, he stopped producing. What happened? Last time I spoke with him, via the internet, was on Soundcloud about his remix of Tekara's-Breathe In You. It was a mindblowing remix to say the least. I was waiting for the release of the remix and it never came out. Either way, Silk, I can't say enough about your label. I live and breathe progressive breaks. You've consistently released great music. If you run into Aeron Aether, please, let him know that he is deeply missed. I don't say this lightly, but he was a one man army version of Hybrid(the pioneers of progressive breaks). By far one of the most consistent producers in the progressive arena that above all is passionate about his music. How do you know? Just listen to his music and you hear the work he puts into it.
We absolutely love this comment. Thank you for taking the time to share your terrific story with us. Your passion towards progressive breaks and your praise of Aeron are incredibly kind and we cannot thank you enough. We will definitely make sure that Aeron sees this :)
Agree! Erwin, if you like his stuff, maybe you'll like some similar breaks songs: Sahara by Dmitry Bessonov and Hurricane by Mat Zo (whether he meant it to be or not).

He is hands down one of the top tier talents in progressive breaks, my absolute favorite of his is: Aeron Aether & Embliss - A New Dawn
Glad to hear you're a fellow fan of the prog breaks genre. We also love "A New Dawn" -- a classic.
Man... I could swear Elfsong is actually Dean Bean McNeish (or vice versa)
Great mix as always!
(btw there is something wrong with the description, just to let you know :) )
Thanks for letting us know -- fixed now!
