Hi Emily! I used the 3rd level (the maximum) without any problem. Anyway, you should use protection while engraving. Also you can alternate them while engraving. If you have another question please feel free to ask us!
How/can you fix a mistake on the glass. ( the pen hit the glass where it wasn't supposed to)
Hi there! Fixing mistakes on glass created with an engraver can be complex. Engraving on glass is typically permanent, so there's no easy way to erase or cover up mistakes. If it's in a line, you can try to make it bolder until it covers the mistake!
You suffer no such grief that is not common to all artists. You don't "fix" mistakes, you turn them into what the late Bob Ross referred to as "happy little accidents". Remember, YOU are the artist, and only you knew exactly what you were intending to do. Turn your "mistake" into a new component of your art and no one but you will be the wiser. If you are engraving a name, you can't necessarily turn a mark off to the side into a letter, but you can decide to add some filigree!
