I used to live very nearby where Daniel Smith started in business on Nicholson Ave. in Seattle. Out of his garage. The store is amazing. Sure wish they still had those marvelous catalogs for their fans. I still have some I saved from over 20 years ago. Very informative and wonderful.
My teeth start to ache, I so much desire these. But every time I go to Jackson's Art, I simply fail to decide which ones. I want all of them. They are all sublime. And I like all the colours in creation.
Daniel Smith have issued a statement about false claims re pigments. And apparently their colours can all be replicated using one pigment as the base colour. Roman Szmal have a superb range of colours to compete - and don't fade as the DS do.
Green apatite genuine is the absolute best for any type of foliage. Just wonderful. My favorite of all of Dan smith’s paints!

I have all three and LOVE them! You can not go wrong with buying any one of them or all of them.
