It's sad that these videos are watched by so few - cause they are really informative and well explained!

I have used this combination several times on granular, spring corn snow and it works very well. It is very important to reduce your kick zone a bit (especially in the front) so that the klister will not catch violently on the snow when going down a hill. When applied correctly, this combination provides excellent grip and is very durable and fast. I usually begin by letting the green warm up a bit inside on a sunny window. The only thing that is a must is to have a rag and base cleaner handy because it is very, very sticky. An option would be to put a piece of masking tape to cover a few mm of the edge and the ends of the kick zone so that it will not mess up your gloves and clothing when skis are being carried. Have a rag or some plastic to cover the skis when transporting in a ski bag or in a car.

Saul always keeps things very simple and is very helpful for the intermediate skier. He is always a good source of basic information!

I can't tell you how many skis I applied klister to in my lifetime as a skier. But, this video is super helpful anyway! Good job!

Here's a great example of a decade old post that keeps on giving! Thanks for the very well done video Saul.
I grew up skiing in Minnesota and as everyone knows, in Minnesota it never gets above freezing until July so I have very little experience with klister. It's also been a couple of decades but I do remember swearing a lot on those few occasions when I did use it.
My wife and I have just bought new kit and looking forward to a spring cross country vacation in the Rocky Mountains. Looks like above freezing temps for our trip so found your video of great interest.
What do you use to clean up errant klister? I know the trick of putting toilet paper on it to pick off gobs of it, but I'm wondering about the last bit left on clothing and such. I'm wondering if alcohol would work?

Thank you. You are very kind. Alcohol does not work. Wax remover, mineral spirits, varsol, paint thinner, work.
