- The V12-powered S600 AMG was an icon of the Nineties in post-Communist Eastern Europe. If you were a force to be reckoned with, this was the car to be seen in. Nino Karotta takes one for a spin only to realize that the old leviathan still has a few tricks up its sleeve.

Még csak most jöttem rá milyen zseniális ez a videó. Gyakorlatilag arra a jelenetre épül amikor Tyler azt mondja hogy a dolgok amiket birtokolsz elkezdenek birtokolni. Karotta pont úgy alakul át mint a Narrátor, ráadásul tükröt állítva nem eldobja a társadalmat magától hanem felküzdi magát egy Anti-Tylerré, azzá amit el szerettek volna pusztítani. Imádom.

Mindig megnézem amikor valamelyik cikketek alá belinkelitek. Ez a legjobb videó, ami felidézi azokat a bomber dzsekis, Martens bakancsos 90-es évek romantikus hangulatát, amikor a bakancsban levő acélbetét, és a zsebben a kézre húzott boxer nem csak haszontalan kiegészítő, hanem aktív kommunikációs eszköz volt. Meg az MTV is jatszott rockot, es a MIÉP gyűlés után lehetett punkokra vadászni.
this video sort of helped me out, looking at an s600-non amg in californie with 87000 miles on it and he did mention the amount of heat given off by the v12, that does raise some questions for the dealer maintenance, now you want to see the maintenance, thanks:)

Yeah I know that. I am a some kind of "fanboy" of Mercedes-Benz, but the information you gave me about 1994-1996 year models was new for me thought. Thanks for info and correcting my mistakes, I learned something new again about these fantastic cars. Keep your Stars shining mate. :)

My reply comes late. It's a tv show dedicated to cars. And this is a classic Eastern/Central European "gangsta" car of the 90s. Hence the parody on gangsters. Get it?
The thing the guy is talking about in 2:16-2:35 is really the only fault that 140-type Mercedes Benz has. But if you take care of it, fix it and replace the original parts with better ones you really don't have to worry that problem anymore.

Cool video. I loved thi programme on TV. Unfortunately they are not making any more.
There were two guys in the show, Bazso Gabor who is in this video and Winkler Robert. Both of them are very experienced drivers and they make a very funny show.
Too bad they are not making the show "Totalcar" any more.
Also the reason the wiring degrades is because MB decided to use bio-degradable insulate for the wiring. It's a common problem on the 90-95 or so MB's. It goes for the the other engines also. I've owned my 92 500 for 4 years with great luck and 80k miles later. It now has 145k

Ok, my bad. I really thought that the model name changed right away from SEC to CL. I did some research and noticed there is actually some 1994-1996 models with the same badges and called by S Coupe.
wasn't a sedan version of w140 used by gangster back in 90's ?
Coupe was even more, at least for wannabe gangsters, not the truly wealthy ones with real power - who used to have the sedan body model

@Quak5 i've seen few of them and some have S600 and others have CL600 on back, not sure why... this one is S600 as you can see

There is a wrong model-padge in the trunk. The car is actually 600SEC or CL 600 depending on the model year. In 1994 the model names was changed, 600SEC-->CL 600, 600SEL-->S600L and do on.. It's a coupe (C140) based on S-Class (W140). So it's mostly the same model, only the 2 rear doors makes the difference. Very nice car anyway, but I would correct the model badge if that was my car.
If you buy the same car but from MY 96 and up you get the parking sensors and you won't have the wires insulation problem anymore and you get the facelifted version too. This problem was for ALL Mercedes built in 1993 to 1995 more or less.

SEC is also S is w126 coupe,CL c215 is also S,is the coupe from W220,all big 2 door are S but in some years are called another name but the car is S
