I live in TN. Some of the best shops in the Nashville area are in a few of the nearby suburbs. I'm glad you found a ton of books that you are enjoying. ;)
I was definitely spoiled for choice. I put some feelers out and these were the top recommended to me. Do you have a favorite LCS? I’d love to give it a visit if I go back up there!
@@LettuceComics There are so many choices. Let's see. Rick's Comic City has a good selection of new and old comics, mostly new issues. It's close to the airport. Great Escape has a second store in Madison, a neighborhood of Nashville, much like the one you visited in Charlotte. Also in Madison is Comics City Too, which is similar to the Great Escape. Towne Square Records and Comics in Gallatin, about twenty minutes north of the city center, has a LOT of older comics and slabs. A very nice selection of high-grade non-keys and some keys. Outer Limits in Murfreesboro, just south of Nashville, is much like the Great Escape, which has more slabs and keys. There’s also a second Outer Limits Store in nearby Franklin, TN. In Bowling Green, KY just north of Nashville is The Archives a store with a large selection of old a new comics. I frequent all these stores, and most are worth your time. All have Facebook pages for quick lookovers.
I love how every McKay’s I’ve been to is basically the same, and yet every experience is completely different. It’s easily my favorite place to go back issue hunting.
that place was ginormous! i love to see back issue stuff. mostly since i don't read new comics and miss the old days of the hunt for stuff i could afford just to read the stories. subbed!
The video doesn’t accurately get across how much they had there. You could spend 8 hours in that building and barely scratch the surface. Thanks for commenting!
Love the Charlton war comic book pick up. I just love old comic books in general - the more obscure and esoteric, the better. Don't get me wrong, I also like Marvel, DC and the more popular super-hero stuff, but something about old comic books that make me extra happy.
Neat video lettuce! Appreciate a little wild hunt video from time to time. Hard to get out there though… hoping to have my own luck again in a few weeks. Thanks for sharing 🤙
Had my fair share of adventures through McKays when I lived in Tennessee. Great for all sorts of items if you look hard enough! Especially for trade paper backs
I just found your comic book channel, i used to be a comicbook channel but i went away for awhile, thinking of getting back into it and being part of the community once more, if theres even a community to come back to. Ima sub you up and hope to see you on my channel if you ever get the chance 😊 i hope to start uploading soon if not next month.
Everything is a 9.8 with your glasses off!😂😅😂 Classic line!!! Great hunt video.
CGC hates this one simple trick
"Unknown indie writer Alan Moore" had me literally laughing out loud. Your humor is on point. This episode is solid gold man. Great job!!!
Thanks dude! I had a good chuckle about that one.
Always enjoy seeing hunt videos and how other shops are set up. Great pick ups!
Hey thanks! I always think it’s neat to see how different stores decide to use different amounts of space.

You bet! Thanks for watching!
I bought those Judge Dredd books off the shelf and loved them. Especially with the Brian Bolland art! Great pickup!

Great video! I love those essentials for reading ❤
Me too! My reading pile grows by the day.

That’s where I am too! I obviously love superhero stuff, but it scratches a different itch to see old war books or off the wall stories.
