lol i have a crazy story about this song... i was at the US open of surf, in huntington beach CA and MGMT was playing a set on the beach! this must have been 2012 or something. the crowd was packed and when this song came on... i somehow ended up on top of everyone, crowd surfing, i didnt jump or anything.. somehow ended up getting lifted onto someones shoulders and next thing you know, im surfing baby! sooo gnarly tbh, it felt like i was on top of the crowd for 20 mins or more! (guestimating obviously) once i finally put my two feet on the ground again... i realized my car keys, wallet, and cell phone were no longer in my pocket hahahaha. so i basically bummed it and chilled on the beach for a few days, and made some amazing friends. few days later, i met a man with a metal detector and he found my keys. so dope, so grateful. (story over lol)
Remember the day this video dropped, I was struggling a lot with disassociating and anxiety and this song brought a sense of calmness and peace that I really needed- in a much better place now and have listened to it since, just feeling very appreciative right now- thank you Sven for your music and the positive vibes you bring to this world, it made a difference to me
