    Comments, Questions and Answers
01:28:29 Question 1: You spoke on how a liberal education’s job is not to prepare youth to be productive in society. The Jeffersonian ideal is to prepare youth for meaningful participation within a pluralistic Democracy, however in my mind this speaks to grammar education. Can you speak to that point?
01:41:15 Question 2/3: You said the best way to achieve a liberal education is through a conversation. Can you differentiate what a series of questions would be in light of what a true conversation would be? (Q3) You also mentioned tutors are the guardians of knowledge, can you elucidate that position?
01:51:20 Question 4: Do you have any advice on how to navigate receiving education without taking on a philosophical or political position or indoctrination?

The advice Dr. Brann provides at 1:54 about having an open mind while being a believer is brilliant. So often people who claim to have an open mind are simply people without values or limits.

The real art to teaching logic today is to teach it in such a way that ensures that your students will never understand it . This guy is a master of that.

Because people see the word “Liberal” and automatically assume deviance without actually watching the video in its entirety…
