Steve Railsback is one of the better actors I've seen. Saw Helter Skelter scared me when I watched it. I was 9 when it happened. I found dvd on Amazon. Watch it from time to time. The hair the clothes bring back memories of my childhood. Steve nailed Manson perfectly. He was so riveting in that role. Played Ed Gein perfectly also.
Steve is one of those actors that made a huge impression on me as a kid and then to one day find myself in la, in the same profession and having an amazing conversation on a patio in the hills with HIM was a true joy . Thank you for posting .

Just surfing around this evening.....stumbled upon this interview. Steve is one of the finest actors I have ever seen....easily on the Ed Harris level...which is big. But Im here to tell you that your interview style, your compassion and your heart shown beautifully in this back and forth. Excellent work and just astonishing in your instinctively "feeling" when to back the throttle down. Solid work here. Greg
+Gregory Shields Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our interview, and on top of that, taking the time to comment. I can't explain what it means to receive such positive words, but I can start by thanking you again. You've put a smile on my face this evening. Wishing you all the best, and a Merry Christmas. ☺️
Thanks for replying. He said Manson was perfectly normal until he saw outsiders come around. Dignitaries and visitors. Then he'd start his show. Acting mysterious and trying to play mind games. But never like that in general.
Thank you so much for watching, the compliments, and for subscribing. It means the world to me ☺️ I have a new interview coming next week, so stay tuned and have a great day Darnell!
Yea me too man one of the most underrated performers. He had this way of manipulatiing the audience makinf Ed Gein a tragic lonely figure .... making him a sad person that we sort of felt sad for and wanted a happy ending .... and then we see him dancing in the moonlight with a skin suit lol 😆
One of the greatest actors you never heard of!
Met him at a convention….such a kind man and he was happy to talk to me …such a presence he was….one of the nicer people I’ve ever met

+Dottie Lovett Thank you for watching and leaving a comment ☺️
I loved him as Duane Barry in The X-Files. Great depth of character.
His portrayal of Ed Gein was super scary too.

Great interview of a very talented and interesting man. Good questions, and he really gave it up, especially talking about Barstow. Well done.

I've always wondered if Charles Manson ever saw the movie and what he thought about it.

Happy Birthday, Steve! :)
Good job. You handled that very well.
Thank you very much :)
My ex-wife's uncle was a guard at the prison where Charles Manson was held. He was always the center of attention with his stories.
I’m sure he had a ton! Thanks for watching, and for taking the time to comment.
