Happened to me too, nearly at 1K monthly listeners up from about 150 before being added... I was eventually removed from the playlist but it's so annoying to see 1K listeners but my profile gets wayyyy less than that in actual 'active listeners'; as Spotify calls it.
Considering it hurts people, maybe someones being a jerk and decided to set an AI up to do that. Or perhaps it's some way to list if a song has been trained by AI, but I really doubt that. Otherwise it makes no sense...
My theory is that they add a bunch of small artists’ music so that they see how many ‘plays’ theyre getting from being on the list, and then they will go to Shoudz’s website and buy their listeners for higher numbers.

AI really is a big issue... I'd be quite upset too.
If anybody has any idea what on earth is Shouds plan with this playlist that would be really helpful. It doesn't really make sense to me
