I bought the Ecoflow Delta Max (1600w) on a black friday deal and placed it in situ of a 2nd lead acid leisure battery and been delighted with it. Full app control means we can turn sockets on / off in bed and loads of power for mains appliances with the beefy inverter. Only drawback is the 20kg weight penalty but its in a manageable casing so lifting it is relatively easy if you take your time. In winter months I can top up the lead acid leisure & cab batteries by plugging in a decent amp battery charger. Also means I can take this to my next motorhome so overall its 9/10 !
Yes, turning it on and off can be a bit difficult. Just trying to find the switch is hard. I took a felt furniture leg pad, then cut a hold in the center it over the switch. Now I find, by feeling, the pust button with looking for it.
A question for you. If you are charging the ecoflow by solar, does that mean that your leisure battery is being charged by solar at the same time or is it instead of? Thanks in advance.
I have the Ecoflow Delta Mini running my Chest Freezer. To extend the running time of the Delta Mini. I'm also running a 36 volt 700watt Battery. Ive only started using this setup so I'm not sure exactly how much extra running time ive gained. Ill have to put it on the clock soon. BTW the Mini as you know can handle 300 watts of solar. When i run my battery im getting the full 300 watts 304 to be exact. My Freezer when the compressor kicks in it peaks 1225 watts for about a second and then runs at about 94 watts and they shuts off and the Freezer draws no power at all. So with 300watts continuous i can run my freezer for about 7 hours with the Delta Mini running at 100% with no loss at all.If you buy a 36 or even a 48 volt battery you can extend the running time of the quite a bit .But this is an added expense many will not want to do I'm guessing.
Nice one Andy but after seeing all the Issues John has had on his channel I think I will be investing in a second battery and more solar. Have you been getting away a lot, happy travels. Cheers K.
100 or 200 amp lithium to replace your leisure battery, and then as u have now a great solar system sell the eco , by the way when u plug the eco into the 3 pin external socket on your van you are also charging your leisure battery.

Have you looked into a lithium battery, we are about to have one fitted? Leisure battery. Supposed to hold charge longer and charges up quicker
