Wl Toys K989, Brushless, Upgraded, Test Runs

I know it has been a bit since I have put out a video, been working on some new projects and building a track in my garage for micro racing. I hope you guys enjoy this one let me know if you have any questions about the car. These lesser expensive cars set up correctly are very capable of keeping up with the kyosho Mini z's, without the big price tag.

Hello, Thanks for the post. Do you mind sharing what esc and radio receiver you used? I am also planning to upgrade my k989 to a brushless setup. I do own a radiolink rcg4s transmitter, so planning to use it to control my 989. Thanks :)

I now use a Radiomaster MT 12 and a Radiolink R4FGM receiver, But before I upgraded to the MT 12 I ran mine with my radiolink 4gs transmitter

@@BosphorusBashing I just bought a cheap chinese setup on amazon and there really aren't many specs on it. the esc came with the motor. Since doing this video I have gone back to the brushed setup as the car was way to fast for the track and there is really no way to gear the car down low enough for the brushless system

What type of floor are you using for the track ?

I have Carpet down in the garage and then I just set up the RCP tiles on top of it
