@@RambunctiousReptilian I really like it because they put out individual dnd minis and so far it’s the only place in Iowa I know that does it. I’d definitely make the trip to go and check it out, they have other stores next to the Chuck E Cheese and inside of Merle-Hay Mall but the biggest one is my favorite.

Love how Showa focused the line is so far. Usually companies vastly favor heisei designs and kaiju (including super 7 themselves within the ultimates line) so it’s nice to see Showa getting the spotlight for once.
Yeah, it's too bad that Mezco 5 Point XL line died. Those were excellent Showa figures.

I've been thinking about this MIB ReAction figures video and it really made me realize how much Kenner's Star Wars line had an impact in the toy industry 🤔
To me, the Fisher-Price/Kenner-style 3.75 action figure is THE style of action of figure (with 3.75 O-Ring style and 5.5 Muscle Man style being 2nd and 3rd in line). Almost any property works in the style.
The price of these though is just LMFAO...Tell me your stupid greedy without telling me your stupid greedy making your customers pay for the license.. $30-$40 for a 4 poa figure "emulating" an era when those figures were $3 bucks is pretty trash. Even $10-15 would have been somewhat more acceptable
@@lutherheggs451 the one I REALLY don't get is the ReAction GI Joe figures... The 3.75" Gi Joe line was made DELIBERATELY to be better and have more articulation than the Star Wars figures. So Super7 makes "retro" GI Joe figures with less articulation than the original figures from the 80's 😆
That’s why the blind boxes are a better option for a lot of folk ($13-15)

The absolute deepest cut I would love to see is the censored tentacle monster on the US poster for Godzilla vs. The Thing! There's an international version that shows the whole monster that says Watang!, which is what I name it 😅
These figures give me some old vintage vibes so much, even the box and card packages are given some detail and care. Most of the stuff I have is still in their packages because I just can't bring myself to tear up the packages!

Gotta love how diverse the ReAction Figures are. I do not collect them, but I wouldn't mind seeing Hanna Barbara monster characters and maybe even Godzilla 1998 and accompanied animated series if Toho allows it.
definitely appreciate how deep-cut oriented the line is, and I honestly think it should stay that way. as for who I'd want to see translated to this? Titanosaurus, Gabara, maybe even some monsters exclusive to the HB cartoon (ex. Axor). Fuck, if they start doing 80's-90's stuff I'd love to see a Bagan figure, and I don't think I'm alone on that.

I have a few of these! I picked them up at Horror con specifically because of you. I picked out showa Rodan, 63 Godzilla, and jet jaguar. I have them displayed on a shelf in front of my MIB and clickbait plushies
I have a normal Godzilla and chase/shadow mechagodzilla from the blind boxes. And all of the figures look really cool.
I skipped over this line completely but seeing how deep they've gone already is really making me wish I had gone nuts and got every one. Some great releases here.

The only super 7 figure I own was the 1954 Gojira. The oxygen destroyer was what got my attention and persuaded me to get it. I couldn’t think of any time when we got an oxygen destroyer accessory. So worth my money.

So far, the glowing versions are my favorites. Im only missing the Ghidorah. I'd like to see the full roster of Destroy all Monsters filled out with Manda, Varan, Kumonga, Gorosaurus, and others.
I've heard they aren't allowed to do either version of Toho Kong or Toho Frankenstein, but maybe they can work that out someday. Would be cool if they could do King Kong '33, Son of Kong or King Kong '76. Or maybe they could eventually do Gamera or obscure Kaiju like Titanic Creations is doing and do Gorgo, Yongary, and Reptillicus.
There's probably reasons why we never see Frankenstein in other Toho movies..(only his clones/childern does)
At least Kong got 2 toho movies and appeared in Greenman as a gorilla

I found Super7 last October and have been following them ever since. I SO want some of these....but I'm not quit sure if I want to spend $20 on a small figurine.
The skeleton Godzilla reminds me of the one seen in the later releases of the megadrive game Revenge of Shinobi.

I like the idea of ReAction, but they're so expensive for what they are. Similarly sized and articulated figures for GI Joe and Star Wars go for about half the price.

I have the first Marusan, Shogun (which I wish I could find the original my Dad used to have which is at my Great Uncle’s House…..somewhere. Funnily enough I found the two Warriors there. Mazinger and the one that looks like a cross between an Egyptian and Japanese Warrior.), recently picked up Moguera. I constantly debate getting Baragon and Anguirus when I go to the mall. I really want to find Skeleton ‘54 and Shogun Rodan.
As for monsters I’d like to see represented, like you said some deep cuts would be nice. I wonder how they’d handle a hypothetical Oodako.

I have both 1954 and 1985 Godzilla ReAction figures. I’m waiting for a Biolante ReAction figure.
I collected the first two waves and some of the first glow-in-the-dark variants, a couple of Marusans, and the carded Shogun Godzilla. They literally released too many too fast for me to keep up(or afford for that matter. $15-20 a piece for these is kind of ridiculous). I just recently picked up the Stern Pinball Godzilla and MechaGodzilla variants but only because I saw them at my local Target. But again at nearly $20 each it felt a bit rough to drop that much on ‘em. I started out collecting this line hoping to pick up each release as it dropped but I’ve basically given up at this point. Lmao.

Great video as always, MIB. I'm not terribly interested in all the variants they offer - far too much needless glut - but I do very much like that they're digging into deep cuts for this line. Like you, I've wanted to see an actual Imperial version since that one recolor was released. I'm surprised there's not one yet of someone dressed in the old Ben Cooper costume (just never do one on the actual Ben Cooper Godzilla "action figure" because that was hands down the worst G figure ever released...or hell, do that one too. Sure, why not). If they really want to do deep cuts, they could hit some of the Zone Fighter monsters that crossed paths with Godzilla, or even those monsters the cartoonist in Godzilla Vs. Gigan came up with like the Monster of Homework.
A wave of human-sized alien figures would rock. The leader of Planet X, a Kilaak from DAM, the gorilla aliens, etc. There's so much more they could do with this line beyond glow-in-the-dark variants, but I do understand that's what pays the bills.
My Nino (godfather in Spanish) worked at super 7 and gave me like 4 of the Godzilla figures 3 being the Sho-Gun Godzilla regular fire and glow in the dark and the OG Godzilla with oxygen destroyer and a king of the monsters sweet shirt

What do you think about the Ultimates line? I have a handful of them. Super accurate figures IMO dont quite scratch the itch for me as well as the more stylized stuff, so Ive been more drawn into that line than any other articulated line. The Space Godzilla and ESPECIALLY Destoroyah are some of my favorite figures Ive ever owned.
My biggest issue with the line is, well, there are too many Godzillas. I picked up the Dark Horse and Melted variants cause they were different enough but skipped out on both Minus One figures and the atomic blast and burning Godzilla since its just too many. And they JUST released a new one as well, a meltdown style figure.
Waiting for Varan to get a figure, in terms of Destroy all Monster 10m size he will scale decent with the 6 inch figures

They have some nice stuff and all, but I miss when they had the license for M.U.S.C.L.E. figures based on all the pop culture licenses they could get their hands on that wasn't the Kinnikuman anime the original toys were based off of. The Rection figure series is cool and all, but I don't really have the money to collect 20 bucks a pop designer toys, especially since the only place I see them are local chains that have that indie retailor mark up. Though I do want to splurge and get their Sesame Street line Guy Smiley and Sherlock Hemlock figures. Guy even comes with the bread from a classic "This is your life" skit. But even then, I'd hate to take it out of the package.
