Hi, I love what you do, and I want to thank you for being kind enough to share your knowledge. I've always thought you were an excellent tutor. Thanks for sharing!!
THANK YOU A LOT!! I just found your channel and watched 2 of your videos and already learned a lot. You save me a TON of times. I glad I found a fruitful videos like this one....Keep the god work
This looks absolutely stunning. But I still can't find the last video where they stir a glass of gin. I typed in the search engine: glass of gin with lime. But I still can't find it. Could you help?
First off THANK YOU for amazing video, I had NO IDEA all this time I could adjust timing of text!!!! Game changer, but I totally lost you at copying video and removing background, tried to copy video in same frame, it never worked for me, but I’m using my iPhone???
try duplicating the page then moving the bottle and don't change the crop size of the bottle between the pages as this can affect the match & move transition working
OKAY..I LOVE this..being able to do this in Canva is a game changer for me, considering I have been doing this effect in Keynote.. Being able to do it in Canva, changes it all for me and loved that I (JUST) learned I can do this effect…… BUT when I see it in your tutorial, I can see the Gin bottle changing position, it goes from smaller and sideways to upright and grows and can see the motion in between… BUT when I try to do this effect, like moving a square from the bottom row to the top left corner. I add the transition and when I replay it, it simply just appears in the top left corner..I have even tried to slow the animation down and it still does not “SHOW” the transition… what am I doing wrong? HELP!!!!
Hi, to get the motion effect to work, it's important to duplicate the previous page/slide with the gin bottle in it, then on the duplicated page move the position of the gin bottle and add the match & move transition, it should then work for you 👍 also it's important not to change the area shape of the gin bottle as this will also break the transition. I hope these tips help?
@@designerinyourpocket Thanks for replying… WHen I put in an image, like a bottle etc, it works great, I can SEE the transition as it moves, BUT when put in a shape, like, say, a rectangle at the bottom and I want it to transition to the top , or along the side, it just appears there in the next frame, even though I use the match and move.. I don’t see the transition IN MOTION…seeing it in motion is what makes the effect so great… Like I may want to put a shape at the bottom and place text over it (like a lower 3rd) then move it to the top and stretch it out and put another text.. but if I can’t “see” the transition in motion, it’s no fun lol
It could be because you are then changing the element you with to transition in the next frame. Ie you mention you 'stretch it out' when you do this you have altered it's original state from the frame before therefore the motion effect will no longer work as you've broken the link from the previous page. The element needs to stay in the same proportion as to the previous frame. You can increase or decrease it's size but not change it's shape. @@LGeeThomas

There is quite a lot of different techniques going on in this video so yes, it will take a while to get the hang of but worth it when you do!
Gracias ❤
Brilliant 💥👌
Thank you
You're welcome
Can you tell me what page to choose so that I can also follow your tutorial? I can't find the duration part where you can see the pages you made. 😢
I chose mobile video template format (1080 x 1920) so that you have the duration part 👍
This looks absolutely stunning. But I still can't find the last video where they stir a glass of gin. I typed in the search engine: glass of gin with lime. But I still can't find it. Could you help?
It's quite some time since I created the video but I think I searched 'gin glass with lemon' in the video search 👍
thanks
You're welcome!
Hey sorry, out of topic but do you know how to make flip pages transitions between pges in canva?
At the moment there isn't really a way to do this easily in Canva, put its on my radar to try and figure out a way!! 😍
what was the last videos name that you put ? (the stirring of the gin)
I'm sure I searched 'gin glass with lime' within the videos search 👍
Is this the same process for making the 🍩 doughnuts transition? It looks quite different. Thank you!😊
Yes, it is! It's the same 'match & move' transition just used in slightly different way.
First off THANK YOU for amazing video, I had NO IDEA all this time I could adjust timing of text!!!! Game changer, but I totally lost you at copying video and removing background, tried to copy video in same frame, it never worked for me, but I’m using my iPhone???
You're welcome! you may find it easier to create the animation from your desktop, the match & move can be fiddly to get right using your iphone.
Hello, i dont know why but the second trasition with bottles two of them merging in one is not working :((
