I’ve never even seen a B-58 in real life, and probably never will. You really let me get up close and personal, so thanks! The sight of one these always makes me believe that all things are possible.
I've been there; it's very interesting with lots of history. For me, I found it interesting that the B-58 is parked next to the B-57 Canberra. I loaded both aircraft with weapons back in the 1960's; the B-58 in 1963-64 (Bunker Hill AFB - renamed Grissom AFB) and the B-57 in 1965-66 (Vietnam). Lots of memories even after all these years. Fine aircraft, serving very different roles.
I remember the sonic booms as it made supersonic runs across the country, , ah ! ! The good days, , there was something reassuring as I lay in my bed in our little farm house , , the sound of freedom! ! I still miss it
I always wanted to think that most people would, but nobody gives a shit anymore. Im in my 20s and practically nobody recognizes something like a B-29, let alone this. Starting to think we lost the cold war, not economically, but socially.
Oh no, its so sad. I really hate when aircraft like this just get stored outside in the elements. Such a beautiful airplane, one that I feel is just so under appreciated nowadays. Poor J29s just left there to slowly erode.
@Galileo7of9 Correct, typo. Was a bit of an intoxicated comment. Really just wish people would build more hangars for things like this to keep them safe from the elements. They might seem outdated now, but in a half century or more from now, they'll pretty much be a part of early aviation history.
You're absolutely right The Memphis Belle sat for decades and the Air Force took her back to the Museum in Dayton Ohio. Now Elvis Presley JetStar and the Convair 880 are sitting outside.
For those people who do not know the ins and outs of the aircraft some explanation would have been useful. For that reason I have given you a thumbs down. I will look out for other video by the same person so I know to avoid them!

This plane deserves restoration!
One of my all time favorite aircraft. Such a sexy design in the 50s.
Best looking Jet ever made .
Fighter or Bomber !

I’m old enough to remember that amongst the toy airplanes at Woolworth’s young boy section was plastic B - 58 Hustler.

I was right there with you fondling that aircraft 😂 It should be inside though 😢
Still a good looking aircraft
Beautiful aircraft. I last saw that aircraft in 2000. I believe it had a different belly tank on it.
Always one of my favorites at Pima. The old girl needs some love though..
Looks like she's going 1000 mph just sitting there. Lol
I hoped to see it in better preserved state but still a magnificent warbird.
Is that landing gear substantial enough?
I'm just sitting here thinking how I can steal that plane.
I wonder how many people realize what that is, what it represents.

@@thefriar8883 Do you think things are better in Russia?!

The old 58's been neglected so long it almost looks like a Russian aircraft.....
great plane, too bad we did not use it to level communism when we had superiority…

Henry, these are only walk around videos. We do not talk during the walk arounds
Also Henry, thank for the suggestion for the channel. This is what we like to see to improve what we are doing. Thank you for suggesting this.
@@aircraftexpeditions I like the fact that you don't include cheesy music!
