"This song is my way of honouring my Uncle Beau. He was the one who gave me my first guitar and set me on this musical path. We lost him to alcohol and drug abuse, battles that I, too, have had to face. This song is my way of dealing with that loss, the regret, and the personal reflection it spurred. This one’s for you, Beau!"
