- Live Emergency Maintenance of a diesel generator.This generator is 60kva PowerLink generator with Perkins engine and LEROY-SOMER alternator. It also has a control panel named PLC-920. It can carry out functions including pre-alarm,warning & electrical trip,fail monitoring and control etc.It has some following features:
-Parameter configuration via RS-232 serial communication
-Log last 50 events & alarm information with measured values
-Statistics records
-Remote start/stop.
-Speed sensing from alternator voltage
-Configurable 3 inputs and 6 outputs
-ATS and Engine control
-Adjustable start ,load and stop timers and many more.
This generator has dependency with lift. So it was to rectify the issue within very short time. In this video it has been mentioned the technique of quick solution . How to identify the real reason of malfunction within a very short time , how to apply logic to get a quick solution , these have been also mentioned. However as it was emergency case , team moved to short cut way . If any one is not highly expert , he should not follow this way . He should follow standard procedure . But would you explain megnetic pickup sensor
I have the same fuel pump and not pumping on injectors. The solenoid valve is fine. No air on the fuel lines. Any idea?
Which pump is installed? I have a problem CAT / Olympian GEP44 starts and stalls after a while. Fault code 190
Please see the user manual of that generstor.May be it is ECM related.Would you please reconnect the ECM connection?

I have pekins generator no start canbus error
CAN refers Controller Network Area.Please check the connections of control module. As messages come from different parameters, so there may have connection problem.

thanks for your comment.....12v dc voltage has been applied for extracting air from fuel.You know this can be done by manual hand pump..but this generator has no manual hand pump.Also this can be done by another way by disclosing cranking relay which is located in control module box..So it's your wish which process you will follow...Thanks again brother...Also sorry for late response....as i was not connected with youtube for a long run....

+Essam Youness Most of the cases RPM issue raises due to malfunctioning of fuel system. So check fuel line , fuel filter,fuel quality etc. Observe the result and it may solve RPM issue otherwise you have to move for hard step. Also would you please mention the details of RPM issue ?
TECHNICANY one k-19 Cummins engine have hunting rpm between 800 to 1600.. we was check all fuel line, change fuel water separator and check actuator also.. everything is ok.. but hunting issue not solved
Then try to check the Diesel Injection Pump. Particularly the governor weights and their retainer.

It seems having problem in fuel system. If generator contains digital control module, then see the alarm.Have any alarm in control module?

@@technicany there was a yellow valve in the off position. The first time I saw it, it looked like it was connected to a fuel tank hose. I just rewatched it and I'm pretty sure that was for the oil pan.
