Thank you very much. I've got family not to far away, so I'm looking forward to gong again next time I'm back visiting. Watching back the video, I can see so many places where my lines can improve - plenty to go at 🙂
Wow, those views from the top of that hill are fantastic! And I'm with you Darren, Race Track would have definitely also been my favorite. It was great to see how you gained confidence with every lap. I never heard of the Pre-Ride - Re-Ride - Free-Ride rule but it makes a lot of sense 😁 But I'm glad that not only old hunks like me, but also young chaps like you tend to ignore this golden rule 🤣3:04 ... that's one to easily overshoot ... as well as 3:16 but that was a close call. Nice save at 7:02 😁
A great video Darren, those trails there looked awesome. It was so cool to see you go from one lap to the next, and at the end you were flying down the trail like a rocket🤘. Great performance buddy💪. Thanks for sharing and have a great day. Ride on🤙 P.S. The weather was great by British standards🙌
Too true Dave! It would have been a good idea to dial things back a bit and check out the lines first, but you know what it's like. It's all too easy to get sucked into hitting the lips when you know they're all tables.
Thanks 👍. It wasn't actually as bad as it looked. It was supposed to be a road gap, but I wasn't going fast enough, and I inadvertently turned it into a drop to flat!
Great vid as always Darren... You did pop Dyfi out as a recommendation when I was doing my trip through the Wales in June, but we dodged it as A lot of the trails there looked a bit too tech for my brother... Seems like we made the right call for the group and the WRONG call for me... Place looks like a BLAST!!! And I think you're right... Race Track deffo looks like the best one there...
Thanks Phil, you would have loved it. I definitely need to go back to check out the trails that I didn't have time to ride - maybe time to arrange another trip to see the family?!?!
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland Hahaha... For sure... The problem with a "whistle stop tour" is that you miss so much. But that always leave something to look forward to on the next trip over... Although (in my case) It's my turn to host our annual MTB get together... So we'll be Alp'ing somewhere or another... I'll let you and Christoph know when the dates get nailed down in case you guys wanna join for some party laps and beer...
I clearly see the progress from lap to lap. Definitely a veeeery interesting Bike Park imho! The "Race track" is also my favourite at your POV in this video. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us, a very good chance to get a good overview about DYFI! Ride on, Cheers 🤙Hitsch
Thanks 👍 The trails there are pretty long, and they take some learning for sure. Hopefully I'll be able to pick off more or less where I left off when I go next time.
Thanks dude. I'm already keen to get back and start working on some more of those lines. Not sure when I'll make it though. It is after all a long way from home.
Uuuh it looks really nice! The UK is becoming more and more interesting to me with all these videos from amazing places... 🤩 Also, it looks so non-rainy and non-foggy. Weird.
What a spectacular landscape, the views are extraordinary. So are the trails, very cool! Did not expect that from the title! Thanks for showing!
That Dan Atherton certainly knows a thing or two about trail building!
Another great video ! Dyfi is a pretty brutal place but brilliant fun and the off piste trails on the opposite hills are amazing!

Thanks for watching and commenting. Its nice to be called a young chap, but as I’m about to turn 50, I’m afraid I feel anything but young 😩
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland I feel you Darren 😂 I'm turning 50 in two years. Being on the bike keeps me feeling young though
Superb this video! Beautiful playground!👌
Thank you so much 👍 It's a fabulous location!

Thanks Christoph 👍 The weather was indeed exceptionally good when I was there 😎
yep pre ride is your best friend ..... you went a bit left of a couple jumps in the middle. Great vid Darren👌

Hell yeah! Sick bikepark and an awesome video as allways👌🏼👍🏼✌🏼
Thanks Dani! That Dan Atherton lad can certainly build a trail 😉
Awesome and totally inspiring, cheers!
You’re welcome. Thanks for checking out the video 👍
4:16 nice save, thought you were going otb there ... This place looks sick, great video!

really nice trails there Darren, the technical ones were really great! 👌
Thanks Oreste. Race Track in particular was a corker!
Good work. Would love to get there and try some runs.

Nice as always! It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them.
Thank you very much 👍 I couldn't agree more!

The biking in the UK is really good. Especially in Wales and Scotland. I still have to edit the video from my visit to Jamie - his trails are amazing!
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland ohhh I am looking forward to that!! 😃
What’s your vehicle your driving looks sweet for putting bikes in
Thanks, it’s a VW California. Check out the video I made about it: My MTB Camper Van Setup
