Bought a keyboard about a month ago after not having played the piano since my early childhood. I bought it after finding your channel and you were playing boogie on an airport and I just said to myself, I've gotta learn how to do that, lol. Been practicing for like 30 minutes daily since and I've already developed hand independence and I get a stupid shit eating grin on my face when I catch myself playing with both hands.
Thanks a lot for your videos! They are very very useful! :) I can play some cool riffs and some cool left hand patterns, but somehow I think I can‘t really improvise, I just play these riffs in different orders and so on. There is one more secret left until I can play as good as you do. This freedom of playing whatever you want and mixing the riffs and build up a structure in every boogie woogie you play etc. How have you learnt that? What can you reccomend me to do to master this last „secret“?
Thanks for this great tutorial. It looks like you are in the Key of G and using the dimished 3rd and 7th with the 5th in the right hand. The playing 1-4-5 chords in the right hand as G-C-D.
Wow! That sounds great! I think you are making me addicted to Boogie Woogie!
