- This is the mix of "First Light" by Confidential Music with an additional intro theme overlay as heard in the first trailer for "Mowgli".
"First Light", composed by John Samuel Hanson from Confidential Music, is a custom mix of Hanson's existing CMX track "Every Living Creature". In this trailer mix the editors also overlayed a theme by Nitin Sawhney in the intro. As usual I took the music directly from the trailer, however the mix I had of this trailer was sped up for some reason so there was a little loss in audio quality when I had to stretch it out to the original length again. I also had difficulties removing three pretty aggressive sound effects in this trailer, so those parts sound kind of sub-standard as well, but I did my best to strike a balance between getting rid of the sound effects and not losing too much audio quality while doing so.
Confidential Music have uploaded the full track to their UA-cam channel, so be sure to check it out there as well! "First Light" isn't available for purchase as of now, but they have released another song of theirs to the public for the Suicide Squad sountrack. So go ahead and support them by buying their music in stores:

You did amazing here. The others made me feel as though I was going deaf, or was dealing with an airplane taking off or landing. If I had to name this track, I'd call it "Outcast," just because I feel it fits that really well.

Well, that's both awesome and disappointing (disappointing only because I prefer "Outcast," haha).

With more time maybe I could have improved the three critical parts of the audio here a little bit more, but I wanted to get this out as fast as possible (evidently, so fast that I forgot to set the resolution back to 1280x720 and now we have black bars in the video^^). I hope you guys enjoy this one anyway! :)

Dude PLEASE take your time with these, I appreciate the hell out of how much time you put into making the cleanest mix of these trailers. Definitely have now taken the top spot as the best trailer audio mixer on YT. I'd rather you take oodles of time to perfect these, than spit out sloppy copies like all the other UA-cam channel.
Also If you ever allow us to donate to your channel or start taking requests let me know, if you're willing to keep this quality up, i'd gladly throw money your way.

Truth be told, I don't think I could have improved these three parts that much more, just probably could have made them a little bit smoother... I do feel like I have to stay close to the trailer release date, otherwise I think only few people will see it and most people who went searching online after they saw the trailer only saw the crappy versions and then gave up. So while I'm still doing lots of iterations on these (I do want them to sound as good as possible of course), at some point I estimate that it'll take too much additional time to clean it out just that tiny bit more that it just doesn't seem worth it.^^
Ultimately though I feel like I have to say again, it's easy to overestimate the work put into these by myself. Most of the vocals are basically gone with a mouse click when I have a good mix with enough separation to work with so most of what I do are leftover sound effects (or often additional vocals with some stereo effects) and the volume balancing. Still, it takes some time obviously. :)
As for donations, I feel honored and grateful that it's even considered, but that's not necessary. I also don't want to profit off these videos, ultimately I don't own the content anyway and I want to keep the policy up of having the rightholders be ones who profit off these videos by claim-monetizing them. I guess the main thing to support me would just be spreading the word, it's always a bit sad to see a video not getting as much attention as hoped for. ;)
As for using the music, of course, go ahead! :) As I said I only did the edit and don't really own the content, so I obviously can't speak for the actual rightholders, but I find it great to see these edits enabling others to create other videos!

Can't, sorry. No usable mix of the trailer :/ But they used "Punch Your Way Out Of This" by composer Sebastian Böhm from Really Slow Motion's "Convulsion" album in that trailer and mixed the "War Ready" lines in.

Very much just a hobby. But to be honest, with a good mix of the trailer (i.e. separated layers) you don't have to be a sound designer to remove (most of) the vocals. With this one my own achievements were really just the volume balancing and a few leftover sound effects to get rid of. :)
