Confessedly, I never thought about the surety a slam lock offers. Designated space for a decent-sized trash bin. Makes sense! Brand name, model number, quick sweep. Got it!👍🏾
I believe your Rockwood 2608BS has the best floor plan for the money. It is just under 30' with nice upgrade options. I just wish it was a 4 season unit.

Another excellent video! Grand Design at one time was one of the premier QUALITY RV manufacturers but since Winnebago bought them, their quality, particularly structural, has declined dramatically. There are numerous issues reported regarding the frames, slides and even suspension, particularly with their larger 5th wheels. Most of these reports come from earlier units so maybe they have fixed these issues with the later rigs. I sub to a lot of RV channels on YT and some that have reported issues with their GD 5th wheels are: "My Bucket List Day", "Switch It Up", "Liz Amazing (she interviews some owners of RV's that have had problems)" and "1 Strange Adventure" to name a few. Of course, everyone's experience can be different but I would certainly investigate these issues if you are considering a purchasing a Grand Design unit. It would be a shame to buy one and not be able to use it for months on end.

If all you have is a 1/2 Ton truck I believe the Grand Design 22MLE is the best floor plan.
Now you're talking about top-of-the-line, grand design is in the top ten of RVs. Warranty is excellent, anything that goes wrong they fix with no problem.

Love your videos and fascinated by the rv lifestyle, but have never tried it. I don't think I've seen people entertain inside an rv. Does inside entertaining usually happen in colder weather or at night, or is the majority of fellowship and entertaining outside the rv? Thank you
Thanks for the support. We agree most of the action happens outside, that's why we go camping. But when we go with family and friends we do find ourselves inside, especially if the weather isn't the best and we want to keep the party going 😉. Hey Anthony! Unfortunately, not with payload either. It would require an entirely new truck, maybe 3500/dually. But it is fun to window shop 😁.
Look at a 30 footer. Some might work with a 3/4 Ton SRW.

I agree. Anything over 30' limits the site availability. Weight and maneuverablity can become a nightmare.
