I "spun" the new EP on bandcamp as soon as I saw it dropped, too! I loved Descent, Shaman and Nija and couldn't miss this. They have definitely refined a particular and incredible sound. The video was intense, it was great watching it with you all!

OC is easily the best band ever. This song touches on how we are all servants to consumerism. This all originates from the current fiat money systems. Money is so easy to print, and as a result, fiat loses value over time, aka inflation. This property of fiat incentivizes people to want to spend their money as soon as possible because it will be worth less later. This effect is called High Time Preference.
In opposition of this effect, you may wonder how we could achieve Low Time Preference, where products and services are incentivized to increase in quality to continue to remain at the same value. People would be incentivized to save their money, and only spend it in ways that will invest into their future quality of life.
