Wow nice move! I appreciate your creativity in moving this hot tub and you posting this for us!
Hello Robert, The 217 as I call it is actually a TU-17 and is used in Scaffolding. The brand name is grip-hoist. The TU-17 is basically a never ending come-a-long it will pull what ever length of cable you put thru it. They are perfect for this job and work well. They are expensive but work so easily for many Hot Tub move jobs, so worth the money. I made the red bar from Tractor Supply Store parts. Hope this helps! Glad I could help you with tub moves!! Thanks, Billy
hello sir, I just want to thank you for your hot tub delivery videos. I have learned a tremendous amount from your videos. ive been delivering spas since 2007 and everytime I came across a problem, your videos got me through. great stuff!
No one was scared during the making of this video. I'm not scared. You guys made that look easy.
Billy I really enjoy all of your videos. I feel like I know you. I have a learned a great deal from watching.
Thanks Robert I really enjoy the challenge of moving tubs and enjoy videoing as well.

Yeah jimmy you the bestest spa mover
You know sky hooks have gone out of business on account of Spa Guy
Sky Hooks are for People with no imagination..
Hi billy I always enjoy your videos. hope you have a terrific year
YES!! Scared for you! Don't want you to get hurt! It's quite an operation. You are something else!
Watching this. I think a set of those air bags used for recovery big truck might be the slick ticket need for a fun job like this.
I’m not scared but u got me nervous. Wow. U know your stuff
Woow you are good at your job and you are always working alone
Congratulations
hello spa guy. I have a hot tub in my deck I curently drained it. put it in about a year ago the side is down about a inch and a half any suggestion on how to lift the one side to put spacer underneath get her even?
I have a triangular hot tub in the deck of the house I just bought. The tub is too far below the lip of the deck and covers does not fit. Anyone in Toronto that can help me raise it?
youre king bro
Amazing video. You are truly a master!
Are you scared yet??? I'm not. Thank you..... Thank you very much!!! Boy you sure know how to move a hot tub. That's for sure.
Spa guy im getting a used spa from a freind whose tennants used it before they told me there were 2 leaking jets and jets werent working and also heat wasnt working
How much estimated to replace those parts?? Because i want to consider if i should get this spa
Nice work and very creative on anchoring the straps to the fence post. Would moving this used hot tub on its side and sliding it down the stairs damage the tub and make it useless?
No.. You can move most tubs on the side.. What happened here is there was not enough room to stand the tub up between the back door room jut out and the hole... I thought we could simply slide it down flat and stand it up and slip it between the building and the rail... It was miscalculation that costed an extra hour... We got it done though by flipping the tub.. Thanks for Watching... Spa Guy
I really like that set up. I have 2 moves coming up where the tubs are built into the deck like this one. I would love to try this system. where can I purchase that equipment and what are they called? the red bar and 217 is that right? any info would be greatly appreciated. have a great day billy.
Great job spa guy. Stones baby! What happens when homeowners show up. Has that happened?
In same situation right now. What type of pry lever is that? all the ones I see are too small.
I call it the Bounty because it is the quicker picker upper.. you can find them at www.spadolly.com
How much did that removal cost
I've got to get me a hot tub!
You should consider investing in a boom truck for installations and repossessions.
Cranes are for people with no imagination... There are many times they will not work and in most cases are not cost effective... also that does not make great video as anyone with a telephone can call a crane... Thanks!!
@@SpaGuy Half the time you likely couldn't get close enough for a crane. Is that right?
what is the name of that tool with the wheel that your using as a jack
I call it the Bounty because it is the Quicker Picker Upper.. You can buy one here... www.spadolly.com
Where can I find this 217 handcraft tool? I can only seem to find electrical winches. Just started my business and I love your content
It is actually TU-17 made by Griphoist.. I appreciate you watching.. This is a Great business to be in..
People put their tubs in some really F.....d up places.
I'm scared, when that boy was reaching under the tub to place pvc pipe
"We gonna git it."
Would have been easier just to remove that ramp deck before ?
No then I would have had to put it back..
Nobody else noticed they built the hot tub deck over the AC condenser? Strange setup....
Edward Sessum lol
8.24 made me cringe 😬
Why not use your airbags?
The bag is not good in a tight lift it would bind up really bad.. In the later years I learned to turn the bag sideways to get a more square lift but this tub was jammed in there so this was the easiest way for this particular move..
Are you scared ? Lmao
How stupid was that ....... No ground , No breaker , i once brought a brand new heater pump and it threw me across the yard all because of no breaker ..... Lucky to be here to tell the story, My pool man made me put one in before he would replace the pump .
