I think it's important to note that modulating the DC offset device actually introduces quite some aliasing, especially when you do dynamics processing on the modulated signal. As can be clearly heard in the quantizer/bit crusher example, where the aliasing is so strong that the aliased frequencies are basically completely uncorrelated and almost sound like white noise. So it's mostly suited for more digital sounding effects. I wish they had a DC offset in The Grid, where we have 4x oversampling, then you could make some decent sounding waveshapers I think.
like always: not everything is suited for every use case. but its fun and you get "something" out. I think in the grid you can use the "bias" module to offset signals.
Besides from the great ideas I also learned two things: How you used Tool to silence the audio but still was able to use the audio as a modulator source. (Sounds so obvious now when I write it..) I also noticed that you don’t need to use Tool devices to pan layers. You can access the layers in the mixer. 👍
