I apologize pictures only in this, but worth the share.
This was a full tear down - restoration job that we completed last year. What a cool machine to see come to near-mint shape again

I began riding an ‘83 Honda ATC200E in March of ‘95 as a fourth grader around the pasture and farm. Later in February of 1997 my parents bought a ‘97 Fourtrax 300 4x4 for farm use and I ran the hell out of that machine until Dad traded it for a Rancher in ‘01(?)
I still miss the Fourtrax and dream about tracking it down someday....

i have 1987 trx 350 d had it new in january 1988 my dad bought it for my birthday .. still have it . rides like new just had service stuff over the years still on original tyres still starts 1st time every time .. had to put my honda atc 110 in trade for it

Impressive machine. Very nice restoration. The first ATV I drove was a blue 87’. That work horse is good for another 30years. I’m looking for one to restore.

I have 4 of those quads. Great machines. Easy to work on but parts are getting extremely difficult to find...I can know rebuild the rear differential in my sleep...
TRX300 was the best utility fourwheeler ever made, no doubt
FORDboy357 hate to break it to you but the 300 was made based off the 350d motor but the 350d has stronger and upgraded components especially stronger timing chain on the 350d vs the trx300 350d also has much much power with both lower gearing and more power (bigger top end) and a much much much better rear diff but the trx300 has much better ride due to ifs and goes further offroad then the 350d, the 300 is faster due to higher gearing tho
300s don't die I had a 350 and it was a bit poor compared to the little 300 but the letdown of it was the rear diff
What rim and wheel spacer combo did you use for front and rear?

I had one and they could tow believe I know and on bad ground up hill bloody beast of a bike
I would love to find a Honda 350d in good condition ready to go they were great atvs they surprisingly smooth riding for what they are I had an 06 rubicon and it was junk it rode like crap had no power was uncomfortable was extremely cold blooded but the 350d was a powerful tank had incredible durability and was hard to get stuck the 350d is hard to find people buy them and don’t get rid of them wish I could find one they are such good atvs
Where did you get the top end kit from?
i know this is gonna sound weird i am doing the same thing and cant find part for the life of me the hardest is the plastics got any ideas where to look
are the wheels the same off set? If so, did you use wheel spacers? Would you have a part # or size/offset of wheels? sorry for all the questions but i have a very clean trx350d that im fixing up.

I have a nearly identical one to this only an '88 and in blue. Needs a muffler but honda discontinued it. What did you guys use? Or was the stocker salvageable?
Aftermarkets are available on eBay around $180. Otherwise you just need to keep your eyes out for a good used OEM Silencer...or review the Honda Part # & see if it was used on any other machines to enhance your search. If you've not already.

I just purchased a mbrp slip on from eBay for around 185 bucks and I’m pleased with it it isn’t much louder than stock and pretty easy to install so far very pleased with it.
Wondering where you got the graphics. I have a nearly mint trx350 found in a storage container but need new graphics
I believe i had to re print them (we have a printer) we redrew it all in the computer. Took a long time
