For me, Tails was always a character that I could relate to. I was always bullied in school due to being short and quite frankly, very girly as well. I always struggled to find the right people to surround myself, and only really got along with a select few people. But then, when I saw Tails, he inspired me. He was bullied because he "went against the norm" just like I did, but he didn't let that get to him. He was able to move past his differences and accept himself for who he was. I think seeing that as a little kid really helped me be who I am today. Once I finally accepted myself and was able to ignore all the negative people, I made a ton of friends that love and accept me for who I am. Now I'm as happy as can be, and I have Tails to thank for helping me get here. And that's also why he's my favorite character!

When i was a kid people was doing fun of my i was crying sometimes and when i saw tails and sonic for first time i sayed wow sonic is popular and fast and have friends and tails have two tails and lot of friends and hes smart. That time i didnt have any friends but i stoped bying sad for that i started to learn more and now im smarter but i still dont have friends but i have tails and sonic here for my they really helped my with my life and im happy that happend and i whant to do a big thank you for tails , thank you tails you was always here for my you was with my even in the hard times but here i am thank you so much and i know you are my friend forever 😀

Tails is relatable to some ppl in terms of having a rough childhood, even me, and that’s why I like him so much.
This speaks to me. Tails is right, we all have been bullied in our lives and we've been alone. And it hurts. But we do have people in our lives to help us there. My family and friends are there for me. And they always will be. No matter what.

You have no idea how much Tails relates to me. I’ve heard fan stories, and even stories from the comics about Tails being made fun of and being rejected. All because of how he acts, how he looks, and what his passions are in life. I’ve been made fun of so many times. All because of Tails and other people/characters like him that took a huge impact on me...some of those people who made fun of me that way...made me think I was something else...like the real me wasn’t meant for this world...but, I got over it...just like Tails. I have friends who are like me, I have Sonic with me, and all his friends too. So, I relate to him a lot. It hurts. I know. But I’ve learned to just move on from some of those things. Tails is a big inspiration for my life, I love watching knuckle and tails fail to get along but when tails in on screen I get really happy for multiple reasons. Tails has always been my favorite even before I was into the sonic series. I wish tails had more screen time than he currently has

Tails was definitely me in more ways than one. I’ve been bullied in school and it was hard to find my crowd. I wasn’t very reliant on other people aside from my parents at the time. But I think the main thing to take away from Tails is that family is important. Yeah sure it does sound kinda corny, but it’s true. We need family. Especially during the dark times. Tails is definitely the character I’m sure all of us would wanna talk to when were feeling down in the dumps or uncomfortable about a certain thing in our lives. It breaks my heart that he isn’t real, but I think he still never fails to put smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts.

Tails reprents most of the fans in the series. For me personally, Sonic was a big part of my childhood and helped me just he did with Tails. I was not confident in me when I was a kid, I used to believe that I can't do anything right and that I had no talent, but Sonic made me see that you have to believe in yourself. Sonic's main character trait is his cockyness and cool factor and that brushed off on me. Seeing Sonic be so confident about himself inspired me to believe in myself. I guess Tails is the personification of that feeling.

I've always loved Tails so much growing up. At first I loved Tails because I thought he was a girl. lol. But even when I found out Tails was a male, I still love him. Tails is a strong friend willing to work hard and do anything to help. He even plays a strong role in my fanfiction - After he loses his parents, he has to teach himself engineering in order to take care of his sister (who's my OC) and is still willing to do anything for her, even when she turns her back on him at one point. He is very selfless.
And, after watching this, I realize that I've really personally related to Tails a whole lot more than I realize. I've been bullied for being different, and certain friends have come into my life and made me who I am today. But then I've had to realize that as much as I love them, I can't depend on them forever. I've had to learn to embrace myself for who I am and make the most of who I am.

Tails story impacted my life cuz my life is also the same like tails.back then at kindergarten a group of friends did something bad to me and so on my life at kindergarten to 3rd grade. Tails is not only My Favorite Sonic Character, He's My Favorite Character of ALL TIME! I always loved Tails when I first played Sonic 2 when I was 4 years old, but his story in Sonic Adventure came in an important time in my life. I was bullied, A LOT. At School, at Home in My Neighborhood, I wasn't safe anywhere. I was afraid to be myself, afraid to leave the house, afraid to do anything. But one day after a Very Bad day, My mom took me to the video store to rent a game to cheer me up. That's when I rented Sonic Adventure DX and played it for the very first time. When I got to Tails' Story, I was crying by the end. I related to Tails' Story in that game, I knew what he felt like in the past, and how he progressed through his story, taught me that I should believe in myself and never give up. Tails means the universe to me, I wouldn't be who I am today without him

Like Tails, I was at most bullied and struggled to find my group. Once primary school finished, I was at my worst, the loud enthusiastic person now quiet and shy. Once high school started, COVID hit and struggled to get my group. Once I found who I fit in with, I started getting more and more confident with myself. I am still not back to what I used to be, but I am much more happy than when I started high school. Great job you two!
Oh my god I actually teared up. Tails finally gets the recognition and love he deserves. I'm so glad you guys focused on a deeper meaning to a great character. Thank you. I won't give a personal story, but if you see my other comments on other things, you'll see just how important his character is to me. And sonic team has started to ruin this fantastic fox. Not to quote "but it might sound corny". Why can't we just make Tails great again? A sidekick and powerful hero, not just a cowardly mechanic, and he's lost his kid gimmick. This is out of control, this is a nice video, but I guess there are 72 'I Hate Everything's I liked to this to show that if you don't like the video, just don't like or dislike and leave. It's a lot easier that way.
Tails made me seee potential in all people, personally sidekicks, they are allways there for you, like Robin(BatMan), you know underrated characters, he made me see potential in peple like these, well there is a lot I have to thank Tails for, mostly in Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Advence 1, 2 and 3.

The impact Tails has had on my life is that he's my daughter's favorite Sonic character and he's given us something to bond over. That's how I came across this great video, my daughter insisted that we watch it and I thought it was incredibly well made, and the voice acting was phenomenal. Keep up the great work.

Tails was... probably one of my first seriously favorite cartoon characters. I had a big fondness for sidekicks as a tween, and felt some compassion for them, since they tended to get overshadowed by the heroes in some way.
Tails’ character arc in Sonic Adventure was really thrilling to witness! How liberating it must’ve been to save the day and become the hero he always looked up to!

Wow that's deep. I love this video. I'm glad Sonic came into Tail's life.
This is the Miles Tails Prower myself and many other people remember and keep in our hearts.
Tails is not my favorite character but he is one of if not the most important character along with Amy. While Knucklehead and the Blue Blur will keep to the status quo, Amy and Tails do a lot of growing within the series and shows that life goes on in Mobius regardless if it's the same old, same old.
This speaks to me on so many levels, I've never been bullied or picked on but I've had friends that have had the same experience as Tails, so I know what it feels like. And to everyone in the comments saying that they've had the same experience as Tails upsets me, getting picked on for being different (Wow those people😡). For years that's always upset me, picking on someone for being different is just pathetic. Watching this can seriously help others, like being different isnt bad, being different is unique, unique in a way that is good. Unique in a way that is special from others.
This is the reason why I love Tails, he had the biggest improvement out of all the characters in the franchise, and he's one of if not the only one that understands empathy, times are tough and we've been alone before, and it hurts, but we have family and friends to help us get passed the tough times, Tails goes from having no friends, no family, no where to go, and then meets Sonic, and everything for him changes, Sonic showed him that being different is something special without Sonic having to tell Tails, Sonic is different as well, he's a hedgehog that is fast and blue, in fact all the characters in the franchise are different in unique ways, this is a great video that can help others that being different is not bad, but being different is special.
I don't know why and how it took me so long to find this because I love watching stuff like this, it gives me a sense that everything in life is messy but there's always a light at the end of the tunnel and if we make mistakes, there's always a way to fix them, great work and amazing animation 🥰👍

Wow!...Tails kinda makes part of my life since me and my old bro loved to play Sonic 3 during hours! Mostly with Sonic'n Tails team...The fact that he was Always with Sonic and i with with Tails,is really something to remember. And Having tails having a reflection about growing up with Sonic and thinking about times when he wasn't home,is like that part of me talking to myself about not forgeting about those times,and taking him as a inspiration to keep going.

Some people might think that they are a phony if they are different than other people that they know. But not at all no matter the consequences even if you have a relationship with other people, people can’t judge you of who you are and what you look like and how you treat yourself. It is your business and no one can control it other than you. I have to thank you tails you have been a big part of my life and you have changed everything in my heart, mindset and treatment. You have the biggest, caring heart in your soul, and I have been gifted with kindness yet again. Thank you.
Tails inspired me to be myself and surround myself with genuine people who care. It's probably why I can empathize being labeled this or that out of being misunderstood. Still like Tails, I try hard to be bright even if I stumble for those I admire. Happy new year and hope to watch more of your vids guys.

Me and Tails have so much in common reasoning why ever since I saw him, we were inseparable...
It was when my younger sibling had brought home Mario and sonic and the 2012 Olympic Games for ds. I was playing the game on my ds until I was about to click yoshi. Then, my other sibling accidentally pushed me a little and Tails was selected. When I left the sport I was playing, that was when Tails and I first crossed paths, and ever since then tails and I had shared so much in common with one another.
Sometimes, I'm made fun of for being one the only people in school that draws sonic characters. However, every single time I draw or hug my Tails the fox plush, it always seems to cheer me up. Sometimes I would think my plush was saying "everything will be all right."
I want to thank the crew for making this inspiring video that made even tears fall out of my eyes.. I want to thank you letting my favorite character talk the words of wisdom I thought my plush and drawings were saying to me this entire time.

Tails actually helped me in covid a bit. In the first few months of covid I found sonic x, and tails quickly became one of my fav characters!
He inspired one of my first original character, and the sonic universe was my first deep dive into fanfic.😊

Alright, Meghan. You want my Tails story? Okay, here it goes.
Growing up, I was always picked on like Tails was, but my reasons were different. Firstly, I'm autistic (mildly now). Secondly, I have spots of dry and dark skin all over my right arm, and my hand is smaller than my left hand very noticeably. I was pretty much a favorite target among other kids. Now that I watch this video, taking what Tails has said, I think the ways I was different just....tended to weird them out to say the least. Life has never really been easy for me, being the limited person I grew up being. Especially in a social and emotional standpoint. As I was bullied, I learned to hate myself, even though I couldn't understand why. But I knew there were things about me that were different, or wrong as I used to think.
I never knew Tails existed until I was fourteen, just in freshman year of high school. I bumped into him and the Sonic franchise by watching Sonic X. And one of the first things I learned was that Tails had fallen in love with Cosmo....only to lose her in such a cruel way (as you may know from Sonic X). I had never seen anything like it before, and I actually wound up feeling for him. I wound up staying up all night that same day, watching the events in Sonic X that led up to the heartbreaking climax. And throughout the rest of my freshman year of high school, I got to know more about Tails' general character, not fully understanding how he'd grown so much in "so little time," as I used to think. But this was like any other "phase" or "obsession" I always used to get myself into. But everything changed just after freshman year of high school was wrapped up. On June 9, 2013, my first and only boyfriend named Nick....passed away from a rare heart condition he'd actually had since he was only eight. He was barely fifteen when he passed, and I was a month shy from turning fifteen.
Nick was one of my very first friends I had ever met. He was special needs like I've always been, and we met when we were only five years old. We just blossomed to each other. We grew up, almost always going to the same classes, going to speech therapy together, and we just always hung out. When we were in sixth grade, we realized we started liking each other. After eighth grade, we finally started dating. Everyone in school knew we were going to be together, and we all somehow knew as long as we were there for each other, our lives were essentially set up right off the bat. I actually saw an amazing future with Nick, and I think he always saw that same future. There was a lot of anticipation and emotions in our relationship, but we stayed together like we wanted to.
Losing Nick was the very worst moment I ever saw in my life. Throughout the next week, even beyond his funeral, I was so depressed, I hardly got out of bed. I hardly ate, I didn't bathe, I didn't really do anything but wish I was dead. But as the summer kept going, everything began to change. I got to look deeper into Tails' own story, and how he's come so far, despite everything that was ever against him. The comics, cartoons, and video games all pitched in to help me open my eyes. As a result, in the long run, he's changed my entire life as I knew it, my perspective toward it. He even SAVED my life. More than once. He's helped me learn to trust myself, believe in myself, move on from my past and learn from it, and even love myself for the person I am. Tails showed me so much. This may sound corny, but I even saw Tails in my dreams, crying to me, begging me to keep living and progressing, and always giving me the warmest hugs a person could give, especially with his two tails! ^w^ Seriously, though, Tails also helped me learn so much about myself. He's done for me what he says Sonic has done for him. Tails SAVED me, and I believe he helped me become the woman I'm meant to be.
Now, I wanna be a preschool teacher, and I wanna be an author so the entire world can hear my story as the years pass. I really don't know where I'd be, if anywhere at all, without Tails coming into my life. I owe him a lot, for him saving my life more than once. I couldn't have learned or understood all I've learned without him in the picture. That's why I love him not just as a character, but a role model of a brother.

Sonic the Hedgehog is full of emotion. The games themselves don't exactly hit that sweet spot, not even the TV shows do all the time. But it takes time to realize that Sonic is all about friends. It's hard to really find that moral in today's dumb dialogue. But you can see it in the Dreamcast Trilogy and even Sonic X. Even in those, it's not exactly spelled out as a theme, but it takes a little bit of effort from the fans to bring it out. Living free as the wind, friends are the family you choose, it's what Sonic's all about. It's hard to find, but when someone brings it forth, it makes you feel. As I'm typing this, I realize when Sega executes those morals. In the lyrics to each of their songs. That's where you'll find some deep morals that makes the franchise the lovable roller coaster that it is. Live and learn, Open your heart, Speak from your heart, Reach for the Stars, It doesn't matter, Believe in Myself, Fiery Passion, Fist Bump, Friends. Just listen to the titles of these songs and you can see the emotion hidden inside it. Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles are just one big family. This all may sound silly, but it's the reason most of us "grew up" with this hedgehog. All magical emeralds and super powers aside, this is one of the most relatable franchises out there. It's the atmosphere of the characters not the concrete concept. People who aren't fans look at the franchise as some uncool kids game with talking animals. But if the animals were all humans, it wouldn't change how much we all love Sonic. The personalities, the lessons, the awesomeness, the humor (before 2010), the energy that surrounds you whenever you feel the wind flying past you through the screen with that kickass music playing in the background (4D Sonic game is a frickin good idea), the emotion that you feel when Sonic stops and looks at the sunset, the feeling of family values when the friends celebrate in the end. I may not have been around for the Dreamcast or even the Gamecube, but I still grew up with him on the Wii. Unleashed and Colors were epic. Sonic's franchise is a part of all of us, even the people who don't like him. They represent Eggman. But each character is a reflection of the best parts of us. They're all different and so are we. Long live Sonic.
I think Tails has a huge role in supporting people like him, I think a lot of people who have felt hurt in the past because of bullies could take a lot from Tails. Tails is a great character because he shows that even when you feel insignificant, or worthless, you can be worth something, you can prove them wrong, and be better than ever before. Tails is often doubted, but that doubt has made him stronger. I'm not saying go out and doubt everyone, bring them down, no, I wan't people to build others up, so we can be better people, but sometimes it's those who feel the least important that become the most important people out there, and this is what I feel Tails can teach us...
