It's the morning after Sonic and Tails met, and Sonic has made the decision for the two to be brothers. But to make such a change is not as simple as that, as Tails still suffers heavily from the trauma of the past few months of his life. For Tails to truly be at home, Sonic will have to do all he can to maintain Tails' fragile sense of trust, and the trust of both will be put to the test.

This was absolutely incredible. It took me a moment to remember Tail's situation before he met Sonic. Plus he said he was 2 when Sonic found him so I wouldn't be surprised that someone with even his Intelligence who went 2 years with everyone around him picking on him believed that Sonic left him. But I bet just seeing him return to him was enough to help him trust Sonic a lot more since no one else returns to check on him.
Now a question for the creator's health and plans, do you have a planned number of parts already in mind or are you adding them as you go along? We do not want you to rush these out and as someone who works 8 hour shifts overnight I understand that you don't get much time to yourself nor want to do these things every day.

It sounds like Tails suffers with deep PTSD from being left alone before he met Sonic and people thinking he was “different” and bullied him for having two tails
I don't know if you saw the first episode but he's only 2 years old here, he doesn't remember his parents, got bullied by 3 others/tied to a flagpole/got a bloody nose in the first episode, didn't have a home, and was never given any form of love from the moment he was born.
So Tails having so much PTSD from feeling abandoned makes a lot of sense. Going 2 years without anyone loving you does a lot to a person let alone such a young child.

All right. I'm gonna admit about one thing.
When I was a kid, I was also bullied from 3rd to 9th grade because of my short height and being weak, everyone in class bullied me for those two things and I had to survive all those nightmares. And yes, because of these, I became less communicative and introvert and I was alone all the time. But now I grew up and chit-chatting with my new friends enjoyable and interesting, although my introversion still remains. And finally, the scene where Tails hides from packagers is fully copies my character. I also hide from strangers and not opening the door, except for my friends or family.
In conclusion, my childhood life was as same as Tails'.
I do not know what to say. But I am terribly sorry you had to go through such a thing. It is just wrong.
I got bullied after moving to a new state, and it was hard to make friends in the beginning of the school year, where I moved away from New York to North Carolina and so kids made fun of my accent, it was hard, but then I managed to make friends. So yeah, been there, and understand what it’s like to be picked on for being different. And I too remember hiding in my room when home alone but at a much older age about 10 or something, because I knew the rules to never open the door for strangers no matter who it is if it’s the package man or whoever. So I can relate to that part too. However unlike the two package guys checking to see if Sonic was home, usually in our case, the package delivery guy would just ring the bell and set the package down and drive off.
I’m so sorry you had to go through that bro. But just remember, you will always have people who care about you, if you’re short or not. There are some negative people that we just have to brush off because they’re not worth our time. Stay strong💪🏾

He is as close to me as Sonic and Tails are to each other. Absolutely Heartwarming and Intense. It’s sometimes not easy when you have a fear of being left alone. You gotta feel for Tails here. He needs all the support he can get.
And I am sure it wasn’t easy for Sonic to leave Tails by himself in the house as well, just like it’s hard for parents whenever they have to leave their children to go to work for example and other reasons. Except maybe next time Sonic can let Amy babysit Tails, that would be cute in my opinion where she can cheer him up with goodies since Amy loves to bake. But we’ll see what Tailsfan has in store for the next projects.

I must say seeing Sonic running around the house searching desperately for Tails, I would say at that moment he was overwhelmed with guilt having to leave Tails alone, so makes me believe his thoughts were on Tails the entire battle or whatever he had to take care of, which explains the tone of his voice where he cries out for Tails and worried he ran away. And love how the ending had a mixture of emotions, half sad and half happy as Sonic promises Tails that he won’t ever lose his home.

Yeah, like I bet he didn’t even bother to stick around to celebrate, but immediately rushed home possibly thinking, “Poor little guy. He must be very scared and hungry. He thinks I’ve abandoned him.” So that’s why I had this theory due to him rushing around the house, up and down, breaking a glass or something in the kitchen, and the sound of his voice.

What happened
I love everything about this series!
I loved the conversation about Eggman between Tails and Sonic!
It was sad to see Tails think he was left behind at the beginning…
And even though I knew Sonic would come back later…
It was so sad to see Tails think that he was abandoned yet again…
To think that Sonic was just tricking him…
You do a really good job to show the ever growing brotherly bond between Tails and Sonic!
Keep up the good work, man!
Speaking of Eggman, since Sonic is said to be 9 in this series and Tails is 2, makes me wonder if Eggman is a teenager like 16 or mayb already 18. And yes I loved that conversation too when he explained about his battle against Eggman.

Edit: I feel bad for Tails when he was home alone, especially when he started having flashbacks of all those bullies calling him a freak, having to go through so many emotions alone. I also felt bad when Sonic came back, and Tails was hiding from Sonic. This episode was so heartwarming, and I feel it gave us more of a perspective of Tails. I hope there will potentially be an episode 4 of this series. Already imagining what might happen if there is an episode 4.
