Had the pleasure of meeting Curtis about 20 years ago at his shop in Homestead One of the nicest people you could ever meet. In my mind the Pitts is the best looking plane ever designed
Mark, this is awesome. The black striping completes the paint job! And, smart move bringing it back (via transport) for a complete review. Looking forward to the next episodes.
Let's see here,....cruze to breakfast somewhere, switch out planes for some STOL work, switch again for a little sunset 'inversion therapy, come home and load up the SD with some camping gear for the weekend!!....Monday,..back to contributing to the 401K.
I was airborne since I was 13. I would like to learn fliying it-

Mark that's such a little beauty, congratulations
The Pitts is a cool little plane can’t wait to see you fly it
I just bought a pitts special project. I built and fly a steen sky bolt but I’ve always wanted a pitts.
What a great "barn" find! Nice cowl flap over the 4-into-1 exhaust.
That's a beautiful little Pitts. Very nice find!
The black stripes were definitely needed . 👍
Can't wait to see ya in the air 😎👍
What a sweet airplane Mark, the black stripe really finished it off. Cant wait to see you rockin and rollin in it.
Flying a Pitts is one of life's greatest experiences.

G,day Mark from Sydney Australia.
Really enjoyable presentation of the Pitts (E) and it's assembly.
Has the Pitts toe brakes?
🌏🇦🇺
Yes it has toe brakes.
Mark, it is beautiful and you've done a professional job bringing it back to this point.
Addison Airport!
Hi there. I’m from Michigan also and looking for some advice
episode 2!?!?!? but im glued!
Hi Mark, Looks surprisingly roomy, would you agree? You look to be on the tall side
Yes it is. I'm 6'1" and I fit fine-even with the chute. The E model Pitts seems to be more roomy than my D model.
@@KitplaneEnthusiast Nice. Wild that you have 2. Awesome
Will you be flying the Cruiser to Oshkosh this year? The storm last year botched seeing it in person.
No I will drive this year.
Well that's the Pitts.
In a good way!
what was the price?
Where in Texas was it?
What model jet do you fly.
Beautiful! May I ask how tall you are? With love, Ken
Very nice
Thank you
Anyway when are you coming to India lets start fun
