I was at an airshow and Sean Tucker hovered one of those damn things 50 ft off the ground. I'm not real familiar with air shows and aerobatics but when you see a propeller-driven airplane hover right in front of you that was completely mind-blowing.
you cant even catch your breath from one maneuver before hes right into the middle of the next as it should be very skilled on the rudder as well with that beautiful hammer head
Isn't the tips of your propeller breaking the sound barrier a really bad thing? I could have sworn I'd seen something to that effect. Not an aerodynamicist myself.
7:43 that rudder control was skillful. Absolutely amazed.
I've flown a Pitts and it is a phenomenal airplane. I took some aerobatics from Bill Thomas down in FL and it was awesome.
Sean Tucker is one of the most explosive aerobatic performances you could ever hope to see. This plane is a damn cool one too. Love the Pitts!
Interesting walk-around...
Met Stephen down in Tyler, Texas such a cool guy and puts on one of the greatest performances I’ve seen.
Oh was this video taken in Tyler ?

Another great video, thanks!!!
I love this plane!!!!
At first I was like, eh, a roided-out Pitts, so what.
Then the act started and had me happily cackling along in no time. Awesome little beast 😂
Great ☀️🌟👍
I wonder if that was Scott the ag pilot from west Texas’ old plane?
I would love to get a couple hours aerobatic instruction.

This is like Honda Civic that was tricked out...
Is there even such a thing as a "normal Pitts"?
