Pre-Fallen? First of all, i legit didn’t know Evanescence had albums before Fallen. Second, this song was made after Fallen. Fallen came out in 2003, the original version of Your Star came out on The Open Door in 2006, and this remix came out on Synthesis in 2017

I find the original version of this song (Wich is probably my favorite EV song) kind of dramatic and epic, what I expected to be boosted in this version, instead it feels more deadly and somehow deeper. At first I was a little disappointed, but now I just have no words.

Her vocals in the beginning are extremely phenomenal. I've been admiring her voice here more than anything. I didn't struggle tolerating the instrumental on this track, either. Transitioning into not having drums and guitar has really been a challenge for me. But this was great.
I find myself admiring the instrumental arrangement better if the voice is taken out. Then it feels like a brand new track almost.
The organ missing kind of makes the song lack...
