Across the street from my old home close to Bowlegs, Seminole OK there used to be a Native Church. I never intruded but used to set on the front porch and listen as they danced and sang. Beautiful.
I am just starting to learn about my Creek ancestors and their customs. This dance brought tears to my eyes. Why? I don't know if my tears are tears of joy or sorrow I can see thousands of my people Stompdancing what a vision to see. Thank you so much.

They weren't singing this at no church, stomp dancers are looked down upon, cuz they think we jus some savages..
