Paul King. An Icon for a very short time. King were KINGS. They were the real Deal! And that's how it should be!
King were a fantastic band its a shame they didn't last longer they deserved to be so much bigger than they were.
He was a hunk back in the 80' and his music was absolutely creative and a breath of fresh air. And very catchy ....
I would definitely categorize King as New Romantic.
